Two Police Officers are in routine paid leave after shooting and killing an Armed Robbery suspect yesterday morning. It was the third officerinvolved shooting in the bay area in an eight hour span and the other two were in vallejo and richmond on saturday night. Cell phone video shows the Police Outside the 7eleven on scott boulevard after 2 00 yesterday morning and moments earlier two officers had driven into the parking lot to find a robbery in progress and they say the suspect pointed a gun at the clerk and fired a shot. The officers fired. The suspect was hit. The clerk was not hurt. The Supreme Court is hearing arguments today in a San Francisco case involving police and the mentally ill. Theresa sheehan was shot while holding a knife claiming that police violated her 4th amendment rights and americans with disability at by failing to reasonably accommodate her schizophrenia. Should officers take special precautions for the mentally ill . The court will decide if sheehan can proceed with a civil suit against the department.
