The ind pen dent living Resource Center has been helping people with disabilities for more than three decades. It offers a full range of services to more than 5500. Jesse lorenz heads the center. She says many of the clients have invisible disableties. Stuart christy is a regular client. Theyd love me to accept my limitations after the brain aneurysm. And to live with them, you know, rmtble, dignified way. The center hopes to move to this newer building on howard street. The center is on the third floor of an old building. It has only one elevator. It breaks down regularly and its so small it can only fit one wheelchair at a tame. A lot of the newer scooters and wheelchairs cant even fit in the elevator.
