After serving the search warrant at the home, investigators spent much of their time out back. They swabbed this white vehicle, which is registered to the husband, paul. The Police Departments connection to a missing person case began sunday night. 30 miles from brisbane, fishermen found a womans torso. Tuesday night, investigators searched for additional body parts, picking up more remains around 8 00 last night. Sources say a womans extremity. Then reports of a bay bridge jumper. The victim was identified through fingerprints as shellys husband. Neighbors were unaware of the developments as police investigated. Paul was kind of broke down about it. And that neighbor you just heard from said he never heard the couple fighting, but other neighbors said shellys husband moved out for a time and when he moved back into the home, there was tension between the couple and often fighting. Now, one woman, an inspector for the u. S. Customs and border protection, opened an envelope with something suspicious. She says that it was some kind of powdery substance. She apparently thought nothing of it, and continued with her work. Then suddenly she started to feel dizzy, nauseous, and this is what hand next according to the alameda fire department. Shortly after noon, a woman was complaining of dizziness, some eye irritation, and nausea. We responded with one fire company and ambulance. When we got on the scene, our crews evaluated the woman and during questioning, were told that she had opened up a package with in the mail, one of the packages appeared to have a white powder substance. At that point, our cruise felt it would be appropriate to expand the incident based on that information to a Hazardous Materials response. Reporter now, here is the problem. Haz mat crews have gone into that balding to try to find the suspicious envelope and have not been able to locate it. Again, the envelope. Now, the woman says again that she had the envelope in her hand, put it to one side and apparently lost it. Thats why they cant find it. Now, the building has been evacuated. 20 workers quarantined. Three employees apparently sick, again, nauseous, dizziness and that woman taken to the hospital. Apparently, this is either nothing and they are being e extremely cautious or this is very serious.
