Large kitchen knife. Reporter the man was shot here by officers responding from a call from a Homeless Outreach team, man with a knife. The knife had a 10 to 12inch played. Reporter police say they shot bean bags at the man but he kept charging. Two officers, one of them a sergeant, fired. We have it i peers four extended casings from the bean bag and seven casings. Reporter seven bullet casings. The man was rushed to the hospital. All he did was play with his soccer ball. Reporter stephanie and john knew the man as jose. They were outside their tent when officers arrived and they say they saw everything. The knife was up on his hip the whole time. He didnt have no knife in his hand when the officers was around him. Reporter he says he saw bean bags hitting jose first. He was going in circles, and thats when the sergeant pulled his gun out and opened fire on him. Reporter the couple says the knife was tucked in his belt. He fell and thats when the knife fell out. And he hit the ground. Reporter the man was rushed to the hospital. He died early this afternoon. Im sure the police will have more to say in the days to come. The shooting comes ironically the day after the Police Commission met at city hall where they discussed arming officers with nonlethal weapons such as tasers. A brief scare at an Office Building this afternoon after a report of someone inside with a gun. Sky 7 hd was over the medical office after somebody saw a man with a rifle inside. That led to a brief lockdown. It turns out it was just a bb gun. The county sheriff tweeted this picture of it. Its not clear why anybody would bring a bb gun to the office. Two burglary suspects led police on a chase that included a brief pause for the driver to do some donuts . When he ran against his challenger two years ago, his campaign emphasized his seniority and experience. In junes rematch, the two find themselves taking strong stands on transgender rights, in light of laws past in North Carolina and mississippi, criticized as discriminatory. Honda applauds pay pal and other companies for objecting. And im kristen sze. Police say the dental assistant molested a young girl while she was sedated and recorded it on his cell phone. Laura anthony is live in concord with the disturbing story. Reporter this all started when this young girl walked into Concord Police headquarters with a relative and reported something she remembered from her visit here. Now Police Believe there are many more victims. This case was brought to us by the courage of an 8yearold girl. Reporter police say it was a young girl and her family that exposed what investigators believe was a serial molester. Working as a dental assistant here in concord. Police say the suspect recorded with his cell phone. It showed him at the dental office. It showed the young girls laying down, where he would pull their pants down, touch their vaginal area and record this. Reporter he now sits in jail on 8 million bail. He was arrested for abusing one 8yearold girl. But Police Believe there are many more victims based on evidence seized from his home. One of the piece of evidences seized was a cell phone that had several videos of young girls. Reporter he worked at this clinic for about a year. Typically a dental assistant would monitor a child after a procedure when nitrous oxide was used. The gas makes them more comfortable, less anxious during the procedure but doesnt put them to sleep. The clinic takes patients very seriously and is fully cooperating with officials. For the privacy of our patients and all concerned, we cannot comment further.
