Theyre not identifying the teenager because he is under legal age. But say he planned to stab up to a dozen students tuesday at forest hills high school, hour south of charlotte. Reporter the School Resource officer seen here is the one who pulled the boy out of a classroom. In his book bag they found the knives, gasoline, firecrackers, and a hit list, with the names of several classmates. Police here say they were tipped off by authorities in canada who learned of the plot from a canadian girl who was in an internet chat room and saw the teenager discussing his plans. Within minutes, the phones were ringing in union county. He had students that he wanted to harm. Some of them were in the classroom. Reporter police tell us the teen is in a secure location, getting counseling and has not been charged. Great work all around there. The president over the last several months lost confidence in director comey. Reporter white house sources tell us the president was particularly infuriated by comeys testimony in front of Congress Last week. It makes me mildly nauseous. To think that we might have had some impact on the election. Reporter abc news learned early monday afternoon the president met with the attorney general and Deputy Attorney general at the white house. And told them, he thought he should fire comey. Asked for their opinion. And then told them to put it in writing. When did he make the decision . He made the decision for the final decision to move forward with it, was yesterday. But i know that he has been contemplating it for a while. Was the reason for the firing, what was written by the Deputy Attorney general . Is that why he did it . That was i think the final piece that, that, moved the president to make that quick and decisive action. Newly released video shows Cedric Anderson was able to get into a San Bernardino classroom last month where he opened fire on his estranged wife. When anderson is unable to enter through an outside door he signs in at the front office telling staffers he was dropping something off for his wife. Thats when he was able to get access and walk into the classroom. Anderson shot and killed his exwife and 8yearold boy before turning the gun on himself. Mandatory evacuation orders are in effect for two communities in southern georgia threatened by a stubborn wildfire.
