Reporter we reached out to kaiser who issued a response saying that we are working hard to meet our patients Mental Health needs during the strike. This week our patients will receive care from those Mental Health clinicians who choose patient needs over the strike, as well as from our psychiatrist, clinical managers and other licensed professionals. Kaiser also say has hired nearly 200 more Mental Health clinicians to keep with the increasing demand for care. A child psychologist, alexis pete ricketts, said clinicians are still overwhelmed. Caseloads are unworkable and unsustainable and that is why people are leaving. We lost about 70 of our Union Membership over the last year.
