Ice tells us this mornings raid was part of routine enforcement activities. Agents were trying to locate a convicted sex offender theyre trying to deport. The officers went to the Good SamaritanResource Center because they thought that was the targets last known address. These tactics of, you know, full, you know, clothed, you know, police, i. C. E. Police coming to a Family Resource center inquiring about individuals seemed inappropriate. It turns out the address agents were looking for was actually next door. No one lives at the Resource Center, which is designed to help low income latino immigrant families. Neither the city nor the county knew about the raid.
