A language mixup spells scary consequences for workers at a restaurant in washington. I dont want the police to come here. The owner of lucky teriyaki swears Law Enforcement is welcome at his business. The confusion started when an employee saw two customers sitting near deputies spill soup and water. Waiter thought the deputies had scared the customers. When the deputies were spoken to, they thought he said dont come back. On sunday one of the suspects robbed a 16yearold boy of his phone. Monday they demanded money from a 19yearold punched him and stole his personal belongings. Police say they took a 58year old mans wallet. All the crimes happened while the victims were distracted playing pokemon go. In san diego, two men fell over a cliff while trying to capture monsters. Police say they climbed through a fence with warning signs. One man fell 50 feet, the other 90 feet. Firefighters rescued both. It took a team of firefighters and lifeguards and special equipment to assemble a cliff rescue rope rig and they ascended down the side of the bluff here and actually had to put a harness on one of these individuals and bring them back up. The firefighters are shocked the overall cost to keep it open is so low especially for an affluent city like palo alto and the risk is so high. Fire chief says his department has done a detailed analysis. He told kpix 5 that out of a total of 43 calls last summer, more than half were not for emergencies and the fire engine was canceled before arriving on the scene. He went on to say that the department has Mutual Aid Agreements with agencies in woodside and Santa Clara County and safety will not be promised. In emeryville investigators are offering 10,000 to anyone who knows what sparked these flames. The fire ripped through the six story Apartment Building on san pablo avenue last week.
