We have learned one of the infants with microcephaly was born at Alta Bates Medical Center in berkeley. The hospital specializes in infant and maternal care. State Health Officials announced the two cases today. They say both babies were born with abnormally small heads attributed to confirmed cases of zika in their mothers. In addition, officials are monitoring 21 pregnant women here in california who all have confirmed cases of the mosquito borne disease. State Health Department says none of the women contracted the virus here in the u. S. Instead, all picked it up in a country where zika is active. Theres a very real risk to women who get pregnant and travel to areas where zika is transmitted. The allegations involve underaged drinking and minors secretly recorded playing strip poker. 41yearold Anthony Silva was arrested this morning taken into custody at a youth camp where prosecutors say some of that illegal activity took place. Reporter just hours after his thursday morning arrest stockton mayor Anthony Silva is out of jail. He made no comments about the four charges he faces, one felony and three misdemeanors, all related to an incident last summer at camp for disadvantaged children. The charges include a felony eavesdropping charge of recording Confidential Communications and he faces three misdemeanor charges, one contributing to the delinquency of a minor, two furnishing alcohol to a person under 21, and three, child endangerment. The Amador County District Attorney says his office just learned about the fbis investigation last week. The Office Released details about an fbi search of silvas cell phone. On it they found 23 photographs and four videos taken last year in august around the time of silvas youth camp. One of the videos, quote, contains audio of a conversation between the participants involved in a strip woker game that happened in silvas bedroom. They were naked and one participant was a 16yearold boy. Witnesses say silva supplied alcohol to a number of underaged counselors at camp and that silva installed cameras at the Stockton Kids Club and in his bedroom. Now, the investigation all started after mayor silvas electronics were seized at sfo last year. He was returning from china. After a long legal saga, former chinatown gangster Raymond Shrimp Boy Chow was sentenced today to life in prison. A federal judge ordered him to two life terms, one for the 2006 murder of former tong leader alan leung another for racketeering.
