Well, normally police wouldnt release the name of a juvenile but they are doing it in this case because they consider him armed and dangerous. They are urging 14yearold mario toliver, june yes or no junior to turn himself in. Reporter the shooting happened in a small one bedroom oakland apartment where the brother and sister lived together for a few years, siblings said to be very close. Im hurt, devastated and sad he has to go through this. Reporter neighbors said they heard two or three shots. Surveillance video shows the 14 yearold brother running from the building. His 17yearold sister Justice Toliver dead inside. Police are offering a 10,000 reward for information but didnt want to talk any more about it today. Dont want to talk about it. Lets not talk about that. They are treating him as armed and dangerous and the reason is we have not recovered the weapon. Reporter so police and the family spend another day searching for the teenaged suspect a father who already lost a daughter hoping not to lose his son. Please, son, turn yourself in or call your daddy so we can turn yourself in. I love you. I dont want nothing to happen to you. It happened just before 10 30 at a housing complex on connecticut street. Officers were checking vacant units to make sure no one was squatting. The complex was taped off as officers investigated the incident. Were told the dog charged at the officer and the officer says he felt threatened and fired. The dog is described as large and had a reputation for aggressive behavior that earned him the nickname in the neighborhood. Im not sure the exact number but i know animal care and control has dealt with the owner of the dog and perhaps this dog in the past, as well. But with a nickname of psycho, it sounds like there have been concerns and complaints from residents. The dogs owner was taken into custody for squad squatting and being questioned whether he released the dog on the officer. A scary night for sleeping antioch homeowners. Around midnight a speeding car went airborne on buchanan road and slammed into two houses missing one woman asleep in her bed. Don knapp tells us its not the first time a house on the street has been hit by a car. We were laying in bed and 12 20 we hear a loud bang. The house shook. Reporter he heard a car slam into a home where his motherinlaw was sleeping. Reporter apparently it was traveling at a high rate of speed when it hit the Center Divide and careened over the westbound lanes on a curb taking out a pg e power transformer before slamming through boons neighbors garage and into boons home. I ran out to the front yard and opened up the front door and theres a car laying upside down in the front yard. Reporter the outofcontrol vehicle ripped through the garage barely missing a car in the garage and another in the driveway. It shattered walls and sent debris to a neighbors roof. I was considering in the future having some propane gas or something installed in my garage for outside cooking. Im glad i never did that. So thats a lesson. Reporter the crash into two homes is just the latest on buchanan road. Two weeks ago sunday at the corner of buchanan and barcelona a vehicle slammed through the fence of this house through a kitchen wall. No one was seriously hurt. Kyle boone was take the close call in stride. I spoke to somebody today who asked how i could be upbeat about everything thats going on. Nobody was hurt, no damage, just Property Damage that can be fixed. Theres nothing to be angry about. Reporter last nights crash took out power in the neighborhood. San francisco could face some stiff competition in its bid to host the next americas cup. A man has been arrested for stealing more than 250 beehives from a bakersfield farm. Beehives are getting more valuable every year. He might have been able to between 40,000 and 50,000 renting them out. He didnt get away because the stolen hives were spotted by one of the real owners. They located them at a different location and recover them. Theres actually identifying marks on all the boxes that show who they belong to. Investigators think that they used a semi truck or two to haul away that many hives. Most of the major crops grown in the Central Valley rely heavily on bees for pollination.
