Meantime, right now, again, here in hollister, officials are warning people in some parts of the area to avoid drinking their tap water. Now trains were halted in downtown oakland but they are back in service and running in all directions here so we are looking at the macarthur station here all things calm. We see bart taking off right now so if you are heading to bart, you are all good, just expect about 20minute delays on all of those trains systemwide. To the bay bridge toll plaza, we have a lot of backups here and a lot of fog heading into downtown San Francisco. The maze to downtown will now take you up to 20 minutes. So slow commute here. And moving over to the nimitz freeway, looking good in both directions from 880 northbound on 238 in san leandro to the maze, that is 16 minutes. If you are heading into the peninsula from 92, thats going to be hayward to foster city, a quick 15minute drive but it looks like traffic slowing down a little bit so well keep an eye on that commute for you. Okay, moving over now to woodside if you are headed into the peninsula, highway 84 between 35 and grandview drive, this is closed due to downed trees and power lines in the area so chp says this might take a couple of days to clear out. The manager dialed 911 said the men were unconscious and had broken bones. People at yoshis waiting for the show were obviously stunned at the news. Moving to the Golden Gate Bridge if you are headed from marin county into San Francisco, that will be a quick drive across the span there. And you have a long drive across the bay bridge toll plaza thats going to take you up to 30 minutes from the maze to downtown. And expect heavy fog across the way there, as well. And if you are trying to take the san mateo bridge, expect a slow drive on that bridge from hayward to foster city. You have about a 20minute drive between 880 and 101 and the Altamont Pass coming out of tracy moving well. Green arrows all the way through until you hit north flynn road where youre at 33 miles per hour. So north tracy boulevard to the Altamont Pass will take you 22 minutes. Ill send it to you. They are warning residents in some parts of hollister that their tap water could be contaminated because of the flooding. Now, on tuesday, the levee broke not too far from here causing a 60footwide 30foot deep hole. And at the same time, the Pacheco Creek was flooding in another area flooding hundreds of acres on both sides of the Pacheco Creek stranding livestock and damaging homes. Rescue crews saved about 50 people. The floodplain ends in the middle of my little chunk there. Joe its not required for me to have Flood Insurance so i dont because its very expensive. With the cooler air with the passage of yesterdays cold front, it is overtaking that warmer air mass from that Atmospheric River so therefore we have the fog forming and the visibility right now the at Oakland International airport less than a half mile. Now we have half mile visibility in throughout the trivalley, less than 10 in san jose. Upstream we go santa rosa with less than half mile visibility. We have visibilities issues in the napa valley. Temperatures today once the fog lifts and the sun does shine its going to be bright blue skies. A man beaten by San FranciscoPolice Officers is now suing the city and the officers involved. Brandon simpson filed a lawsuit against four officers claiming his civil rights were violated. Always tough to start a day with layoff news but such is the case for the oaklandbased pandora. The company says its going to cut 7 of its work staff about 150 employees. This despite pandora saying that its 4th quarter will be better than expected. Now, shares of the company are surging higher by 7 in the early going for a couple of reasons. Bad news for employees that will will be layoffs, cost cutting measures are usually cheered by investors and also the New York Post says that sirius xm is still interested in a potential takeover of pandora. That deal has been rumored for several months now. Wells fargo and other big banks reporting their earnings for the 4th quarter. Wells fargo missed expectations mainly due to its fake account opening scandal that racked the bank during the 4th quarter but the numbers werent that far off and shares in wells fargo are heading higher today.
