I love these days when you have these sun soaked heat searing days but also that cool breeze that moves in especially toward sunset. Thats whats happening right now here in the Oakland Hills. Todays high here 77. Above the average of 74. But let me step out of the way so you can take a good look at what we are seeing. Wow, what a beautiful vista view tonight. Were overlooking the Oakland International airport. Looking toward the mountain coastal range. You can see the hint of stratus in the form of low clouds and fog trying to make tracks to the peninsula. All of this is going to change dramatically. While today we had good to just great air quality, what you can expect with the impending heat wave is this. First off, temperatures from friday all the way through about monday, above normal. A good 10 degrees above average in many of our inland locations. And then because of the heat, we are going to have ozone trapped close to the surface so air quality will detier yor iate inland until we get a late day breeze. This is summers last hurrah because we have now surpassed labor day and we are heading towards those autumn days, those shorter days where we wont get as much abundance of sunshine so it will cool off dramatically. So if you like heat waves, this is it. Well see temperatures especially to the south morgan hill and gilroy flirting with triple digits to the east were talking about the trivalley brentwood, tracy, oakley, also backing through fairfield nene 100 degrees. Nothing that we need to push a panic button on. He didnt have a good day. Uy is human. Yu is just like everybody else that goes out and pitches. He can have a day where it doesnt work and today was that day. When hes on and not making mistakes, you cant score against him. Those are the games where you see 15 strikeouts and one hit. Hearing a lot of tough talk right now. Youre hearing some intimidating type of talk. You definitely start to wonder, you know, a man will usually tell you his bad intentions and if you just listen know whats being said publicly not whats being said privately and i hope that their intent isnt going to be anything thats not within the rules. No tough talk from aaron rodgers. The packers quarterback shied away from providing the 49ers with any Bulletin Board material like he did back on draft night in 2005.
