Most critical conference yet. Those changes have become more marginal in recent years. Excitement is building for apples event today with much speculation on what well see this morning. And fearing the worst, Aaron Rodgers injury is the talk of the sports world. Yeah, up late watching that game and so back and forth. Im Gianna Franco by way and our producer adam is a big jets fan. Actually im nicole zaloumis, good morning to all of you. I overheard him when he was at the water cooler and he actually seemed like he was in good spirits but there was a win involved. So a loss of quarterback. Win for the overall team, reed. Good morning, everybody im reed cowan reed. Good morning yes, sir. Good morning, it is 5 00 a. M. And for many of us, this morning, down in the south bay we probably had a little bit of an early wakeup if you did feel that magnitude earthquake over3. 3. Just north of morgan hill around 1 00 a. M. This morning. Now we have not heard any reports whether theres been any damage from this but wanted to kick off morning with that though. Thats the biggest update. In the Santa Clara Valley we go, we are blanketed with the marine layer this morning. Its beautiful and calm. In the 60s and upper 50s wide vet throughout the bay area. Were off to a chilly start at sfo where not reporting once again. But theyre sitting close to 57 degrees right now. Back up into San Francisco, later into the this afternoon were warming up into the upper 60s along the bay and 80s in the inland areas and plenty of sunshine in the afternoon. Dont let the morning fog fool you. This afternoon also going to see that onshore flow stay pretty consistent. Im not sure if you noticed it yesterday but it was a pretty breezy one along the coastline. Areas like bodega bay and San Francisco had wind speeds up to 30, 40 Miles Per Hour at times just from offshore. Now this morning, that marine layer will take its time and it slowly will pull back along the coast. Sunnier skies into this afternoon and more on the forecast heading into the rest of the week in a bit. But for now back to you, g. Taking a look at the roadways right now. Good morning to anyone getting ready to make the drive out of the east bay into San Francisco. Traffic moving along nicely heading into the city this morning. We are tracking a slow ride though for supercommuters if you are coming out of tracy getting on to 580. That is already busy this morning. Down to about 38 minutes if you are headed from 205 to the dublin interchange. And same speeds right around 16 Miles Per Hour. So do plan for a few brake lights heading into the Altamont Pass this morning. 7880 looks great though in both directions no delays on the nimitz and you are clear headed over towards the fremont area along 880. But lets go back to San Francisco right now and get a live look at the area where repairs are still under way. This after a malfunctioning water pipe caused this massive sinkhole look at that. Cal hollow residents and businesses around the area have had to navigate the affected area between fillmore and green streets. This has been going on since sunday night. The eak flooded businesses on street shopping district. The pipe has been servicing San Francisco since 1949. Crews wrapped up the water main repairs last night and are getting ready to work on the street. Well, even before that sinkhole opened up we were already expecting a lot of traffic issues in San Francisco. Roads near the Moscone Center are shut down with the dreamforce conference getting under way today. A lot of traffic a lot of brake lights around there throughout the day. Howard street between 3rd and 4th will not reopen until next monday. Reed . All right; thank you so much. Your community station is all about ai and tech this week as dreamforce begins to start and begins to start . My goodness, im beginning to start. Its 3 00 in the morning. Reporter well, luckily out here, we are waking up because theres actually a lot of noise happening out here as we get ready for day one of dreamforce. You can feel the extra presence we know around 40,000 people attending this conference this week. And of course ai is the focus every sign you look around, the setup behind me, you will see ai and a reminder that that isthe big theme. But its also about highlighting those who have done something special. Those who are innovators and those who are setting an example and inspiring others. Her journey to dreamforce is not only about the miles involved but the challenging path she underwent to get here. If i can you also can. Reporter as a young woman growing up in the middle east, sima says her family didnt allow her to imagine a life beyond an outdated view of women in society. A refugee who moved to the netherlands, her degree in pharmacy wasnt recognized in her new country. But she made a Career Change in five months. Today she works as a developer for a tech company after training on salesforce software. I dont really need to go to university five, six years but i can simply just have a account and learn and manage to find a job. Reporter shes a product of the companys free Online Training platform and a Salesforce Program helping refugees in europe. She wants to spread her story to inspire others. Thats why simas highlighted as a trailblazer by salesforce. Cheyenne was honored with a golden hoodie last year at dreamforce by salesforce marc benioff. Whats it like to see you up there . It feels its cool. Right . Yeah. Yeah. Well, i feel like its great like to feel your picture in San Francisco streets. You were like when you say the first one i was like oh thats me. I was like wow in the streets. Feels amazing for sure. Reporter more than five years into the new career, shes eager to keep learning and grow. Here i am to help others to understand you can always switch and start your journey within salesforce. Reporter and since ai is the big focus of this week and the conference, we asked sima what are her thoughts and she is certainly excited to learn new ways to use the technology but also shares the concerns that many of us have. But she said though is that ai is going to be like any other technology if you use it in a positive way. You shabble to get positive results. Guys, back to you. All right, shawn and thats such a conversation well be having in the days ahead of course governor gavin newsom saying weve got to for state agencies make sure that this is used in that positive way. But also to look for the pitfalls as well. What a story about her though. I love when shawn brings us firsthand accounts of here she was in complete despair and now shes on a billboard. Yeah and tech took her there. Just her saying its never too late. I hope that inspires other people and sometimes you have to just go for it. Kudos to her. Stick to tech now because apple enthusiasts listen up. Today, we will get our first look at the new generation of iphones. The tech giant is holding the annual product unveiling in cupertino later today. As Ryan Yamamoto reports, many experts are on the fence saying the announcement could be met with a shrug. Every once in a while, a revolutionary product comes along. Reporter its a tradition that dates back to the late steve jobs. Who unveiled the original iphone back in 2007. Every year, apple reveals new products at its companys headquarters in cupertino but recent events havent come with the hype that were seen in the past. And thats got experts wondering f if sales of the new iphone 15 will live up to expectations. At the end of the day, we may be getting to a point where theres just a law of cocomplainishihing returnrns in of what consume evalwill be. Reporter experts say most smart phone user arent as quick to switch phones every year or two like they once were. I expect more consumers are going to be holding on to their devices probably for a little longer than they might have in the past because theres both a lack of differentiated innovation, things that customers can actually notice and use. Along with higher and higher prices. Reporter nothing is official about the iphone 15. But Industry Analysts think the new phone will be about 100 more. Its expected to have a lighter stronger titanium shell, longer battery life, and new camera features. Those changes have become more marginal in recent years. Reporter gone are the days when consumers lined up for blocks to purchase the latest phone. He thinks the market for iphone 15 pro may well be saturated. This doesnt feel like an earthshattering moment in time. Whose phones are so aged they need to get the next phone. Reporter the big unveiling happens today at 10 00 a. M. And apple will have a live stream if you want to watch it. Im pretty sure operating off the iphone 8. Several years behind. And i may have a couple of updates that i have yet to does it have an abacus . It still works right . Yeah. I mean thats true. You have a couple of i have an original ipod that i still use. Wait, say that again. Original. Its the music you know the click, click, i cant get rid of it. I use it all the time. She said ipod. Get a closeup of this . Im not sure if we can pull this off but this is on ebay who your original ipod sells for right now. How much is that . 1,000. Are you serious . Check it out. Quit your job right now. I dont know if i can part with it. [ laughter ] i dont know. Theres some click, click, clicks that you might get thousands of bucks in your pocket. Thats huge. Good job. We have two. All right. Down payment on a car. Right . Looking out for me, reed. Hey time now 5 10 in the morning. Good morning to those of you waking up in San Francisco this morning. Your community station seeing active not giving up and reclaiming Street Safety following the death of a 4 yearold girl killed at the intersections of 4th and king streets. Function deadly intersections. So many people saying you are fed up after the death but two other pedestrians also in the same month lost their lives in the city. So event organizers are calling for protesters at king and 4th streets that starts at 4 30 p. M. From San Francisco to santa clara this morning. You are waking up to news of a 48 million pile of money that is sitting on the table for county supervisors to divide up. This money comes from National Opioid settlements. Big question, what will leaders opt to do with the money . Well, city officials want to spend it on increased prevention and education and harm reduction. You can actually have a voice in how that money get spent. Theres a public hearing at 9 30 this morning. Now lets go to oakland. Your city working hard to get you Faster Response times when you call 911. This follows report that found response times in oakland are painfully slow. The fix . Mayor sheng thao throwing 2. 35 million at the problem. Shes banking on the cash to help to hire more dispatchers, upgrade the citys computer systems, and upgrades to protect against power outage whence they happen. The mayor also has a ticking clock here. If response times dont improve oakland faces the very real pocket that state monies could be pulled. In oakland now, good morning to you and the idea that two soccer teams playing at the coliseum is closer to reality. Your community station there as leaders diss cuss the oakland roots and soul sports clubs proposal to lease the old malibu lot to build a temporary soccer stadium. The soul currently play their home games at merit college. The roots play at cal state east bay. So you see oakland is bouncing back with some ideas there. Well, theyre leaning on the community because they have crowd funding and i think that starts tomorrow. Remember we talked about it here on the show. You could put down 100, up to 25,000 and be a part owner of the team. Buy in. So important. I think its appealing for a lot of soccer fans especially and just to have that idea of like hey, i own a professional sports team. Plus its so convenient to get to that area near the coliseum with b. A. R. T. And having 880 nearby. Seems like a logical thing to do. You are showing your traffic expertise. Thats coming up in a minute. Jess . All right, well, speaking of the weather, lets take a look outside right now. We have a cold front sweep through in the overnight hours. Were going to be dealing with some cooler temperatures heading into this afternoon. Those windy conditions yesterday, oh, it left for a very bad hair day for many of us along the coast. This is what were waking up to right now in the Santa Clara Valley, still the blanket of clouds just kind of waking us all up a. Anywhere from santa rosa into the east bay and the Santa Clara Valley this morning. By lunchtime all going to be seeing sunshine and really isolates itself near halfmoon bay and the coastline this afternoon. Now yesterday was a breezy day. Today, kind of the same. But that cold front really brought in some gusty conditions and the bay saw close to 40mileperhour winds and today as we head into the lunchtime forecast, well, were seeing about 25mileperhour winds up there. About 25mileperhour winds expected near San Francisco. Closer to dinner time tonight. Now even though we see some breezy conditions, still a Beautiful Day out there. I mean later this afternoon, oakland once this cloud starts to break apart, were going to start seeing sunnier skies and daytime highs today unlike yesterday theyre only going to be sitting in the 60s today. Yesterday we were in the 70s. With that in mind lets take a look at what we have this afternoon. Still some low 60s along the coastline and now were starting to see some 70s pop in into the Santa Clara Valley forecast. There was that earthquake that happened earlier this morning just around 1 00 a. M. About six miles north of morgan hill. A 3. 3 magnitude. Partnership you felt that let us know. Kpix on social media and let us know if you were able to feel it. Heres the east bay. Today, no more 90s in the forecast. Its a mild day for us were actually sitting a little bit below average in certain pockets. 68 this afternoon in San Francisco. The more north we go still seeing 90s in the forecast up near lakeport. But for the rest of us low 80s are expected today near santa rosa. Next seven days. 80s for the friends in the inland east bay and 60s across the board for the coastline. North bay were flirting back and forth with 70s and 80s and thats a very similar trend for san jose too. Its a mild week ahead of us but hey, whos complaining . Actually going to cool down a lot heading into this weekend. Especially in our inland areas and places like San Francisco, will notice it a little bit too. Another thing too of course im not sure if you have heard the news yet but hurricane lee still churning out there in the atlantic. The current track of the National Hurricane center issued continues to track it directly north and as it heads north it hits cooler sea surface temperatures. That really helps decay it. Still some issues this weekend andiers in the northeast and throughout new england a close eye on that for all the loved ones over there. For now gianna, how are the roads . Not bad at all. In fact chp says really no major accidents or incidents to report. Good time to be on the freeways i you are the early bird like us. It works out and you dont have to deal with a lot of traffic or brake lights. Even caltrans closures none that are slowing anyone down. The one north of here at the Golden Gate Bridge has been cleared out of the lanes and they open up the lanes but overall fairly quiet and really no fog in the area to slow you down. The bridges are looking great so far, so good. Same goes for the bay bridge. Everything is moving along nicely for folks heading into San Francisco this morning. We wont see the metering lights on at least for another 20 to 30 minutes. Now in the city though dont forget theres a road closure right around Moscone Center. Howard street shut down between3rd and 4th for dreamforce that also brings foot traffic in and around the area and businesses there will be quite busy. Maybe consider using b. A. R. T. And montgomery station is probably the best bet. But definitely expect some brake lights in and around there. Now rodgers sits down. Aaron rodgers debut turns into a nightmare. What could be a short tenure for the quarterback in new york in a story dominating the sports headlines this morning. Plus, we are live at dreamforce this morning. San franciscos biggest conference of the year is back. Today chances are you will see many people in the city out and about. About 40,000 people walking through these doors of Moscone Center. Welcome back. Guess what . Single game tickets go on sale for the warriors today at 10 00 a. M. Season ticketholders can buy them noon for dub club members and 2 00 p. M. For chase card holders. Now everybody else has to wait until tomorrow at 4 00 p. M. For their chance to win to get a ticket. Not to win. But to buy one. The Season Opener is at home against former warrior kevin durant and the phoenix suns. Im already thinking abs the warriors winning. Also there was a lot of debate around the 49ers quarterback situation during training camp. But only took one game for brock purdy to remind everybody why he is the starter. Vern glenn has more in this mornings red and gold report. Reporter sunday marked six months since brock purdy underwent elbow surgery. And he left no doubt that hes back to 100 in the Season Opener. Purdy shut some haters up. Reporter steelers quarterback Patrick Peterson is one of the haters and guaranteed an interception before sundays game. Not only did he fail to pick off purdy, he was also in coverage here on both of brandons touchdowns and purdy couldnt resist a little post game jab. The second t. On the right side. The deep ball. Was that on patrick poeterson . Yeah. That one i was like all right, that felt good. Reporter oh and defense all eyes were on nick bosa. He played 35 snaps. Did not record a sack. You know who did . Drake jackson. The second year pass rusher got to kenny picket three times and matched his sack total from all of last season. For him to come out and have a game like that is such a big confidence booster himself and were going to need him all season. People dont expect him to make another leap in the second year, im happy for him. Hes exactly who we thought he was. Reporter for the red and gold report. Im vern glenn. Last season, purdy is the first quarterback in nfl history to go 60 with two touchdowns in each of the games. I was reading some of the chats. I heard the name montana mentioned with brock. Just saying. Pa koa just looked up at me like what . Dont say those two names in the same sentence. Yeah. P ooh co is the floor director. I mean, but he is so good. Im happy hes on the niners and i aim i know they just won a game and they already have the confidence. But i dont know i feel a little magic heading into this season. Speaking of historic quarterbacks the much anticipated debut of rodgers in a jets jersey lasted only four snaps. Not even four minutes down on the clock, Buffalo Bills defensive end Leonard Floyd sacked rodgers. The future hall of famer got up but then quickly sat down. Jets are fearing that he may have a significant achilles tendon injury. Coach told reporters that an mri today could confirm what they think and going to happen. But its not good. A torn achilles would be season ending because rodgers is 39 years old. And an injury like this would put doubt into the quarterbacks future and you just hate to see that for Aaron Rodgers and jets fans. But a Silver Lining for the jets. Former starter zach wilson replaced rodgers and helped his team to a come from behind victory. Jets didnt put on the burners until the Fourth Quarter though. Down 136. Wilson with a short pass, incredible touchdown by wide receiver garrett wilson. A field goal and apiece for both teams had the game tied and forced overtime. And hard knocks star xavier gibson. Walked it off with a 65yard punt return. The jets defeated the bills 2016. So it should be really interesting to see how this quarterback situation works out of course. Anytime you have an injury like that. And we mentioned hes 39 years old. It could be careerending. So you wish the best to Aaron Rodgers. But you also see there is a little bit of hope for the jets. Because they do have a good backup in every nfl game needs a good backup. Case in point brock purdy. Look how well that turned it for the 49ers. I feel for jets fans though. Such a back and forth whitecollar heart bounding moments but they got the win. They needed it to kind of you know, keep the spirits up. Hard to turn this game off. You are burning the midnight oil. Reed . G is getting a lot of coffee this morning. Thank you so much ladies. Time now 5 26. Holidays just around the corner. And so is the threat of a tripledemic. Who needs a new covid19 shot and what does the newest jab cover . Thats ahead. Plus did the giveaway in l. A. And walked away from the giveaway giving the shoes off his feet. Jess, i cant help it Im Old School and it still works. Does it really . The old charger like that thick one . Sits on this home the ihome. Ihome. And plug it in and play music. Oh. Throw back to literally it feels like five years ago. All waking up to the blanket of clouds this morning. In the Santa Clara Valley. We had a cold front sweep through in the overnight hours. And its going to allow for some cooler temperatures today. It was a dry cold front though so weir really not going to be seeing anything other than just cooler temperatures this afternoon and a little bit more clouds this morning. Actually you know, drive in this morning i had a little bit of mist from the city but not enough for the wipers to be honest. 50s and 60s right now in the Santa Clara Valley. All the way up into San Francisco. All the way up into the santa rosa area too. Were waking up underneath that marine layer in San Francisco. Where daytime highs today later into this afternoon are only going to be averaging up in the upper 60s. Yesterday we were in the 70s and today were in the 60s. For the friends in the east bay yesterday we were seeing 90s in the new forecast and today its 70s and 80s. All feeling the cooldown. The marine layer and just a second ill show you its going to take a while to pull back along the coast today. Speaking of the coast, were going to be sitting about ten degree below average near areas like pacifica about a degree below average this afternoon near concord thanks to the cold front. Heres that marine layer as it pullings back into the lunchtime hour. Suddenly all pretty much seeing sunshine except for the coastline. More on that in a bit. Doing okay for the most part. No brake lights or issues at least on any of the bay area bridges. Live look at the Golden Gate Bridge. Moving along just fine with no delays. In fact quiet out of marin county. Starting to see more cars out there making that drive across the bay bridge. But so far its not bad. Traffic lights or metering lights are still off and traffic is moving along pretty nicely. Dont forget though there are closures in San Francisco along the Moscone Center area. On Howard Street for dreamforce. So that area gets really busy and it will be like that throughout the week. And lanes wont open up between 3rd and 4th on howard at least until monday. So definitely think about that. Also talking about San Francisco right now, lets get a live look at San Francisco this morning. This is where a malfunctioning water pipe was the cause of this massive sinkhole you see right here. This is in cal hollow where residents and businesses theyve had to navigate the affected area betwfillmore and ets since sunday the break gushing down the block flooding inthe union street shopping district. The busted pipe s been servicing san since 1949. Crews wrapped up the water main repairs and now they are busy getting ready to work on the street and make those repairs. Reed . All right, thanks so much. Big question for so many waking up this morning. Do you plan to get the newest covid19 vaccine . So heres your headline. The fda cleared the latest booster made by pfizer and moderna as we approach what is typically known as the holiday spread. The centers for Disease Control likely to sign off on the new boosters targeting the new dominant variant today. Big question who needs it . People 12 and older they say. Sound off on social media. Do you plan on getting the new shot . Why or why not . Make sure to use the kpix so that we can track your answer. International news now. Russia meet north korea. So this many people saw the value of his life and stepped forward in the night to pluck him out of the cave. Finally rescuers were able to get him out. This is by the way the countrys third deepest cave. Nicole . Oakland now. The community is in the middle of a crime crisis. And just over 24 hours, three people were shot and killed. At least two others were shot and wounded. One of the people who died was a local deejay known as deejay peanut. He was shot and run over by a car early sunday morning. Our betty yu talked with a friend who said peanut wanted to make oakland a better place. More people to understand that people do care about them. Reporter just one example of oakland deejay peanuts giving spirit. According to his friend who said he drove to skid row in a. L. During the pandemic and bought 500 blankets to donate. Sure thing. Reporter early sunday morning, friends identified him as the young man who was shot right before he was hit by a car on 14th street in downtown oakland. The whole oakland is terrible right now. Reporter one of his closest friends deejay butter smooth was one block away late saturday night when shots rang out. Oh down the street. Reporter the emotions are still too raw. He said peanut had been enjoying the fun night out. Down the street and all i heard was gunshots literally on the same block. [ crying ] not the same on the same block. Came up here. Told myself i hope its not somebody i know. And it was peanut. Reporter he said peanut had just bought some late night food and was surrounded by friends when he was by gunfire. The two spent five days a week together often performing at events and butter smooth said he taught peanut how the deejay last year. He just wanted to be great and rich. He had four kids. I have four kids. I need the money. He motivated me to be a great father. Like you know, like every time we paid him, he always be like, thank you cuz diapers formula. Reporter he was working at his restaurant afghan cuisine on 14th street when he heard gunshots around 2 30 a. M. Everyone inside ran and hid in the back for hours. Terrified. Saw people ran out on the street. Then when we saw the people run on the streets, we gathered to know theres actually something is going on. And we too. Reporter Oakland Police have not released information on a suspect or a motive. Butter smooth said beyond his talents, peanuts positivity reached loved ones and strangers. You know lot of people become hopeless. Keep hope and keep faith. Reporter what will you miss the most about peanut . His passion for everything. For people. He did the giveaway in l. A. And walked away from the giveaway giving the shoes off his feet. At this time last year police recorded 87 homicides in oakland. The city just caught up with that this weekend. Selfdriving cars have been divisive in San Francisco. And weve seen plenty of videos of robo tack keys blocking streets causing traffic and even a couple of crashes. So some opponents have actually started putting traffic cones you see this right here. On the hoods of some of these cars to confuse and disable the cars. They say theyre not ready for primetime and they should get the ax then someone literally did exactly that. So this video was actually taken near buchanan and haight over the weekend. You can see that smashing the driverless car while its sitting in a crosswalk with a hammer and ax. The vandal hit the windshield and windows before going after the sensors. The front of the car was already tagged with graffiti. Cruise filed a Police Report and called the vandalism deeply troubling. There was no one inside the car but its priority is to make sure these maintain safe conditions on the roadways for anyone under all conditions of course operating safely as well. Reed . Well, welcome to the bay area this morning. To 40,000 people coming in for tech conference dreamforce. Its San Franciscos biggest moneymaker conference. For the software set. And as Wilson Walker is about to show you, this one could be the last of San Francisco cannot get its problems under control. Reporter where are you from . Im from north ofening england. Reporter have you been here a few times. Probably about 30 times in the last 20 years. Beautiful city. One of my favorite cities in the world. Right . Reporter adam jones of leeds among the tens of thousands visiting San Francisco but he is no stranger to the city. He says the problems started grabbing his attention several years ago and he is not sure things are getting much better. Yeah. Its probably a tough one to answer. I mean its only through what i have seen myself. And being in a different part of the city that i have stayed at this time than other times, somaybe its there but it feels worse to me. Say an uber ride home last night and you see around you an awful lot of disruption and its very sad to see. Reporter a lot of attention is being paid to the citys relationship with dreamforce and its easy to find those who have heard questions about the conferences future and that obviously includes those who might have the most at stake. Thats what we hear that the last year for this convention. I mean, two days is good. But in general, the city still dead nothing going on. Reporter the oasis grill was packed but he says dreamforce only offsets what has been lost. So we hold that you know, the city gets busy again every day. Not just like once every six months. Reporter over the coming weeks, San Francisco will make countless different impressions on different people from different places. Staying in different parts of the city. Yeah. Depends on where you are from. And what you regularly see. Reporter as for the question of if it comes back . I mean, yeah. I wouldnt see any issue with it. Like i wouldnt have a problem coming here. I come to San Francisco pretty regularly. One of my favorite cities. I would love to come back. Absolutely, i love the city. Beautiful place. You saw this not solve the problem, but help the problem. I think people will feel safe. Safer and people will come back. And you know, its got so much to give. And to help field the thousands of techies robots will be serving coffee brought to you like so many things these days by ai artily coffee. Already have one of the robot baristas at stones town mall and now one has been deployed at dreamforce. They want to showcase on the forefront of Artificial Intelligence and robotics. Veterans day is right around the corner. Lets talk about the weather and see whats going on outside. We had a cold front push through last flight. Leaving chilly conditions for us this morning as we wake up in the bay area. Yesterday it was clear as can be. Today . Not so much. Were wake up to that marine layer kind of just hanging out in San Francisco. Its even all the way into the Santa Clara Valley this morning. Where temperatures no matter where you live are mostly in the upper 50s and lower 60s. With the exception of santa rosa sitting in the low 50s this morning. Grab the jacket at least its not windy like it was last night. For the friends near bodega bay. 40 Miles Per Hour winds. Now this morning this afternoon well see gusty conditions along the coast. The onshore flow will be felt in the inland areas later into the evening tonight. A great start with the aqi but we are forecasted to see this turn a little bit more moderate as we head into the afternoon hours as the winds moves in from the north in the upper level of the atmosphere could potentially bring in smoke from wildfires burning to the north of us. Well keep a close eye on that. But lets take a look at the daytime highs today. I mentioned a cold front right . Heres what it left us with. Later into this afternoon, 70s and 80s in the Santa Clara Valley. 70s and 80s off into the east bay. No 90s in sight. Yesterday we felt that off near antioch and brentwood. Today were close in the upper 80s but not nearly as warm. Off into San Francisco we go. Were in the upper 60s this afternoon and the for north we go the warmer it gets and we have some 90s the more north closer to even lakeport this afternoon. Heres what it is looking like for the next seven days. For the most part were in the 80s for the inland east bay and 60s along the coast and shocker right . 60s along the coast its pretty much been the case all year long. 80s are going to flirt with the 70s this week in the north bay. We even see that trend in the Santa Clara Valley and all throughout san jose too. 60s and 70s back and forth for our friends in San Francisco. With low 70s expected for our friends near oakland.
