The shooting at the pulse nightclub on june 12 killed 49 people and injured 53 others. We are going to monitor that situation and let you know what investigators find out. Police identified redwood City Resident as a suspect. Uber had prohibited him from work following the allegations. Happening today, the final funeral for the baton rouge Law Enforcement officer shot and killed in an ambush last week several San Francisco Police Officers will be at the funeral. The three officers left Oakland International airport last night. They feel that its important to honor their fellow officers. One of the officers uncle was a Police Officer killed in line of duty in 1998. He knows firsthand how hard it is for the families of the fallen officers. Unfortunately, there is always a constant reminder of how it affected me and my family back in 1998 and it is a constant reminder to tell me what the families are going through in louisiana and dallas and essentially nationwide for Law Enforcement right now. Parents were picking up their children from a party for teenagers. The Officials Say that the victims range in age from 12 until 27. Four are being treated at the hospital and police say that three people are in custody. Officers arrived on the scene and found multiple victims and suffering from gunshot wounds and ems was called and multiple units came and responded to help triage transport patients. Police say the nightclub this safe of a shooting comes more than one month after a nightclub shooting in orlando. 49 people were killed and 53 others injured in that shooting at the pulse nightclub on june 12. Other headlines, a woman in palo alto says that she was sexually assaulted by an uber driver. It happened on friday night and the woman says the driver forced her to sit in the front seat and that he locked the doors and put his hands on her legs and the woman says the driver later try to kiss her when they arrived at her house. Kron 4 spoke with the People Living in the area and they said that these accusations make them think twice about taking uber alone. It makes me sad because i really like uber and i normally feel pretty safe using uber but im not surprised. Definitely not take it i myself. That is scary. The fact that it was in the bay area. We did get a statement from uber and they released it not too long ago saying that the driver has been prohibited from the company. I just got shot at. That was a call from an Oakland Police sergeant who a shot at after getting into a car crash over the weekend that happen before 9 30 pm on saturday night near 73rd avenue and international boulevard and the police say that she was responding to a call when she got into an accident and after the crash, the man approached fired one shot, hitting the police car. The officer was hospitalized but is back home this morning and the shooter is on the lose. Investigators are looking at Surveillance Video. Oakland Police Officers have been riding in paris since the deadly ambush of five Police Officers. Patrol sergeants have been riding alone. Were keeping an eye on several wildfires that are burning across california. Firefighters in the east bay were able to contain this grass fire near martinez and you can see it caused quite a bit of smoke and this is the video that was sent in by a kron 4 viewer. The fire started at about 4 30 pm on highway 4 and Franklin Canyon road, west of Franklin Canyon golf horse and firefighters were able to get it under control within about five hours. The fire was burning in both sides. On both sides of the highway. That led to a temporary shutdown of highway 4. Over 50 acres burned by fire unexpected winds are feeding this wildfires in Southern California and it has led to evacuations. About 20,000 people have been evacuated because of the sand fire. That fire is burning north of los angeles in the Santa Clarita area and one person has been found dead in the fire zone and at least 18 homes have been destroyed a 40 mile stretch of state route 14 is closed because of the fire and the smoke was so thick yesterday that airplanes were not able to drop their fire retardant overthetop like they had been earlier in the day. It started friday afternoon and it has burned more than 50 mi. 2 and it is only 10 contained. More than 16 mi. 2 have burned in a wildfire in Monterey County. This some brains fire is it is burning in an area south of carmel and north of big sur and it is 5 contained with more than 1600 structures currently threatened. Six homes, and two outbuildings have been destroyed and the fire started friday in a remote area south of the state park. South bay the search is on for the attacker involved in a deadly stabbing in downtown san jose. It happened at around 1 45 am in the morning near south second and market streets. Officers found a man who had been stabbed at least once he died at the hospital. Police have not released a motive and it marks the 28th homicide in san jose. Just this year. 2 people are dead after shootings in oakland. A man was killed in east oakland on holly street around 1 15 am and a woman was injured in a second shooting around 1 50 am on international boulevard near the station and another man was killed in west oakland near seventh and market streets around 1 20 pm yesterday afternoon. Police have identified 2 suspects but no arrests have been made. That today is the final funeral for one of the baton rouge Law Enforcement officers who was shot and killed in an ambush. Three south San Francisco Police Officers are attending mass funeral. Kron 4 was there as they left Oakland International airport and they say that they want to honor their fellow officers and one of the officers knows firsthand how hard it is for the families of fallen officers. His uncle was a Police Officer killed in the line of duty back in 1998. Unfortunately there is always a constant reminder of how it affected me and my family back in 1998 and it is a constant reminder to tell me what the families are going through in louisiana and dallas and essentially nationwide. For Law Enforcement right now. It is a tough time. It is an honor and a privilege to be able to represent San Francisco, going to baton rouge louisiana, pay respect to officers who gave the ultimate sacrifice by dying in the line of duty. It is important because it shows camaraderie across the country. Officers from all of the country, every state has been represented and i think it is very important that we all show our respect pay our respects and support to those fallen officers. South San Francisco Police Officers are attending a funeral for montrell jackson, the officer depicted in the middle. He had a newborn child as you can see. The other two officers were laid to rest on friday and saturday. Police are looking for the driver involved in a deadly hit and run this it happened early yesterday morning and police say a car hit a pedestrian on highway 242 south of oliveira road. The victims name has not been released and police do not know why that person was walking on the highway to begin with.
