And at some point a confrontation led them near the intersection of scott boulevard and monroe street. Police say the man would not cooperate. And they needed to use deadly force. Degree of force. I know there were some verbal exchanges between the suspect and the officers. And unfortunately it was a situation that officers could not deescalate. vicki the officers name has not been released.
