Investigators say there is not enough evidence to prove that either officer violated the federal criminal civil rights law when they shot and killed alton sterling. Sterling was selling cds outside a store in baton rouge last year when Police Responded to a report of a man with a gun. Two officers wrestled with sterling. And after someone yelled that he had a gun. Sterling was shot several times. Police say that a loaded gun was later found in sterlings pocket. Fica police dept. If you own a drone use common sense. He was arrested and cited on a misdemeanor charge of sightseeing at the sight of an emergency or disaster by operation or use of an unmanned aerial vehcile. San mateo County District attorney Steve Wagstaff is prosecuting the case. But its not the first time across the nation that a hobbyist has been cited for illegally flying a drone. Earlier this year, a man in jackson wyoming was fined for launching a drone, causing an elk stampede. The federal Aviation Administration regulates drone use. But he says as drones become more popular, theres worry that a hobbyiest can derail an official Fire District operation in the future. Last year, the faa relaxed its rules on who, where and when people can fly drones. You dont have to be a licensed pilot. But you do have to fly below 400 feet, the drone has to always be in sight. The drone cant fly within five miles of an airport, over crowds. Or, near any manned aircrafts, which Jerry Destremps is accused of doing. But in other cases, they werent so fortunate, he wants to be able to act quicker and save lives or get these violent videos off the network immediately so people are not using it to get their 15 minutes of sick twisted internet fame like the recent incident in clevland when Steve Stephens posted a video on facebook of him shooting and killing an elderly man. We will do all we can to prevent tradgedies like this from happening. Their plan is to add 3,000 people to the existing 4,500 who daily scan the network looking for offensive or violent videos and then remove them when found. There are two billion users uploading atleast 400 hours of video a minute to facebook there is no way 7,500 hundred people can keep up and monitor all that video. Now they are working on atificial intelligence to protect the network. Software that will automatically scan the network, find these videos and delete them its going to be a while before this technology is ready for deployment. And eventually that artificial intellegence will be good enough to evalute videos as they are being uploaded, or streamed live, and if they are deemed innapropriate they will be deleted in real time. San jose police shoot and kill a man who is believed to be the suspect in a double homicide. darya will tran is live in san jose this morning with the overnight details. will three people died in shootings wednesday night in san jose, one of which involved a Police Officer, police said. At 9 01 p. M. , officers responded to the 1000 block of laura ville lane on a report of a person shot. According to police, when officers arrived at the residence they located two deceased victims. Then an officerinvolved shooting occurred and an adult male suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said. No other injuries were reported and there are no other outstanding suspects. The officer involved in the shooting will be placed on routine paid administrative leave, police said. The Santa Clara CountyDistrict Attorneys Office and the San Jose Police departments homicide unit are conducting a joint criminal investigation. Pearson hit several cars, and you can see those cars were severely damaged. He was arrested on tuesday after crashing his car into a pet store. Pearson told police he had smoked marijuana before and was also drinking. In yesterdays incident, pearson was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. mark construction at an east bay bart station is causing frustration for riders who say it is making it harder to find parking. Bart riders are being forced to find alternate parking at the lafayette station because a parking lot is being renovated. And it could take months to complete. Bart says the site Improvement Project will lower congestion and create a better flow of traffic. Construction is set to begin at the end of the month, and that will create a huge shortage of parking spots. People who use the lafayette station say its already tough finding a place to park. mark bart suggests using bus routes 6 and 25 to get to the station.
