Now, as weve got those storm system moving a little further, all kind of wrapping around that low. But you see the lightning strikes into the afternoon. Some heavy storms move into livermore in the concord. See the storms moving through their brentwood. Some lightning strikes near your neighborhood into fairfield rio vista. Its been really coming down and thats where we sit right now. Watching some of the cells out there around the bay area. Lets take you for a closer look. Now some of that is continuing to move up in a northerly direction. In livermore, you can expect to see some of the storms rolling right up in your direction here in the next 20 minutes or so. Further out, though, we can expect to see more of that rain and maybe some more lightning strikes continuing to move up further to the north and making their way into the north bay in fact, numerous strikes showing up out there right now in the vacaville and in the central valley, heavy enough rain that the National Weather service is a Flash Flood Watch show kind of wild out for this evening. As long as that low remains anchored off the coastline. That means things are going to stay on settle. Not that were going to see a full day of rain out of the storm system. But you can see some of these popup showers in the afternoon. Thats where were tracking right now. In fact, models picking up on that to show you some of the storms rolling through this evening into about 9 oclock tonight or so and then begin to taper off overnight.
