Her daughter says she is hurting but hopes her mothers murder will raise awareness so that other people will seek help before it is too late. Domestic violence is very serious and it does and can escalate to something as serious as this tragedy that we are going through that i would never wish on any family. The message i want to make very clear is that this was preventable. We need to take responsibility collectively. We need to make sure that Domestic Violence is incorrect occurring and we help survivors report. The District Attorney says from 19912015 there were 61 Domestic Violence killings in San Francisco. San francisco needs to get back to zero. We had a short period of 44 months without any Domestic Violence homicides so we know that it can be done.
