I dont have any friction with him. This is the white house. The United States of america. We are serving the president. He also announced that Sarah Sanders will be the new press secretary. There could be more shake ups in the white house staff in the coming days. And there are reports that the legal team is looking in to the professional and political backgrounds of investigators hired by special counsel. According to the Associated Press the president s lawyers are looking for conflicts of interest to use to discredit the investigation or build a case to fire mueller who is in charge of investigating possible russian involvement in the election. Reportedly a spokesman resigned because of the effort to undermine the investigation. The attorney general said that he plans to continue in his job despite being criticized by the president. The president said that he would have picked someone else for attorney general if he had known sessions would recuse himself from the russia investigation. Session said that he loves the job and will continue in it as long as that is appropriate. James taylor is on the phone to help us digest what is happening this morning. Are you with us. Yes. First lets talk at sean spicer leaving. How significant is this, is this another shake up in the white house . It is. I think briefly if you look at the pat egoing back to january to now for six months we have had about one person, key person every month be removed from this administration. To talk about a shake up in six months of an administration is ridiculous. This has been the ongoing of this administration. What do you think about the bringing on board of i was watching the briefing from my desk and he said i love the president , the white house is on track. I love the team we have and then also added that im a business person so here we have another business person in the white house. Why do you think the president brings him on board . Well i think its funny because its arrogant to suggest that he is going to help the rest of us 300 million americans see the president the way he does because he loves the president. He intends to bring back the image of trump as president and try to reshape trump. The problem is that he is a new york guy in washington dc. The beltway doesnt work the same way that wall street does. It work was politics, money and the constitution. Thats not the same in wall street. Could this be the clean break that the white house needs as sean spicer suggested . It could be but the problem is that anthony is replacing mike who was the head of the Communications Department for the white house for just four months. Sean spicer survived him two months longer than the person that he is replacing. This is a real problem for the Trump Administration. Again i have been studying politics since the 70s. I kid you not. This is clearly the most Difficult Administration roll out i have seen. Six months in. There you go. All right. James taylor always a pleasure. Thank you for calling in. Thank you.
