Reporter yeah, and we are already seeing this morning how tough its going to be for those who knew and loved officer mike johnson, there was a retired San Jose Police officer who just showed up here outside the sap center a short time ago, he was tearing up talking about losing his friend. He was too uncomfortable to talk on camera, but he is going to come back for the Public Memorial Service that is going to take place here at sap center, it begins at 11 00 a. M. Johnson was well liked and respected by fellow officers, he was a 14 year veteran from the department who was recently assigned to train recruits in the field. He was shot and killed last week when he responded to a 911 call to help a suicidal man, he was a native of san jose, graduated from grounder son high school. The Police Economy and the attorney general will speak, well also hear from a fellow officer who attended the Police Academy with johnson, johnsons sister will speak at the memorial. We know there is a going to be a slide show with music, there is going to be a flyover and a final salute outside the sap center, this map shows the procession which starts at 10 00 a. M. The motorcade then heads to winchester boulevard and on to Stevens Creek and san carlos which leads into downtown where it ends at the sap center.
