Police initially told ktvu that eight people were injured by gunfire and another injured as the crowd tried to run away. Police say two suspects in ski masks were in a car waiting for that 14yearold girls Birthday Party to end. Then, both suspects opened fire. The firefighters quickly put out the fire but had to cut through the roof of the car and then peel back the dashboard to get him out. The man is in his 20s and suffered severe burns on the leg along with severe, several fractures. Hes being treated now at stanford hospital. This morning, a manhunt goes on in cleveland, ohio, and nearby states after police say a man committed murder in live and live streamed it on facebook. The police say the 37yearold Steve Stephens shot and killed 74yearold Robert Goodwin in a video that stephens called easter day slaughter. This morning, the police are warning people in states near ohio to be on the alert for stephens, who is considered armed and dangerous. And Steve Stephens, wont to communicate to him that we know who he is and that he will eventually be caught. Now, the separate video posted on facebook, stephens claimed he killed more than a dozen other people. The police say so far they havent connected him to any other murders. Two detroit officers were shot last night, responding to a report of a breakin attempt of a home. According to investigators, the Police Arrived at the home before midnight when a 19year old fired shots through the door hitting one Police Officer in the face and the other in the arm. Police detained a woman and her two sons who life at that home. The 19yearold may have thought the police were burglars. The officer shot in the face is still in critical condition. The other officer has been treated and released. And the very emotional legal battle over the death of, the Death Penalty has moved to the state of arkansas. The governor of that state and the attorney general will meet this morning and they will discuss the latest legal developments involving that states plans for state executions that were scheduled for later this month. Talk about a federal judges rules over the weekend that blocked the scheduled execution of eight death row inmates. And the countys office worked around the clock the last few weeks and the last couple of days as the judges have made decisions and as court cases have been tied. And on saturday, the federal judge stopped the planned executions and ruling there is a strong possibility that death row inmates could successfully challenge arkansass execution rules. A passerby happened to see a woman fall from the third floor balcony and call 911. The police say short a life shortly after midnight, she fell from a third floor balcony that houses many calstudents. When First Responders arrived, he was breathing and unresponsive, she suffered new trauma where thee later she later died. Its reported on the social media believed to be belonging that she was a Computer Science major and she belonged to the ala Phi Omega Fraternity and that focuses on a lot of Community Service projects. And a worn out extension chord is being blamed for an rv fire that killed a man. The fire happened when someone spotted smoke coming from a garage. When they arrived, they discovered an rv was on fire and broke into the drivers side door and found a 57year old man in the back in cardiac arrest. They cut a hole in the side of the rv and got him out, but he later died at the hospital. Fire investigators said the extension chord was running through the drivers door and severely pinked and worn pinched and worn from constant use. And near Candlestick Point in San Francisco, a car went over the embankment and plunged into the water at 6 00 last night. And the San Jose City council is scheduled to vote tomorrow in the controversial issue involving the rights of renters. Currently, landlords can kick lay tenant out of the unit without reason. Renters rights advocates are fasting in their demand for change. They have gathered outside of San Jose City hall during a rainy easter weekend and vowed to go without food until the scheduled council vote tomorrow. There are at least 20 protestors involved in the Hunger Strike. And there are people that go hungry in the city every day and become homeless. And the city council had an opportunity to change that. The cause of the explosion is still under investigation. A stockton Police Officer shot and injured a man after police say the man ran into a patrol car yesterday afternoon. The suspect has been identified as 26yearold edgar montoya. Police say he is expected to survive. The injured woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. No officers were hurt. A man wanted in connection with the theft of a football auto graphed by an nfl hall of famer turned himself in to milpitas police. Pleasing say that pham lam and another man stole a football that the hall of famer jerry rice auto graphed for a Charity Auction earlier this month. He surrendered over the weekend and brought the football with him. Police are searching for a second man. The football was valued at 3,500. United airlines making headlines again. And this time, a bride and groom claim they were booted off of a flight en route to their own wedding. It happened over the weekend during a layover in houston, texas. They were headed for costa rica when they were kicked off a flight. The couple claimed that someone else was napping in their seat and they sat in other seats and asked to be upgraded. The Flight Attendant said it was not possible and the airline booted them off of the flight and told them to take the next flight in the morning. Instead of having two weeks of wonderful friends there and getting married and then the honeymoon, all of a sudden, it starts out extremely difficult for them. The airlines said the couple was asked to leave the plane for being disorderly and posing a hazard to the rest of the passengers. United airlines has made changes. They changed policy about giving crew members lastminute seats on full flights. United has been criticized, as you know, about this video posted on line showing a man being violently dragged off of a plane. The passengers on is that thaflight were asked to give up their seats to make room for four flight crew members after they had already boarded the plane. The new policy said that crew members now have to check in at least an hour before boarding. Today at noon, reverend Jesse Jackson will protest against United Airlines at San Francisco international airport.
