He is facing two counts of burglary, and obtaining prescription drugs and elder abuse. The Contra Costa CountyDistrict Attorney said Matthew Switzer used his status as an officer to steal drugs of senior citizens. The drugs are involved are heroin. Reporter his Attorney Says his client had issues and suffered from posttraumatic stress disorder. He was fighting a very serious addiction problem. Started out with prescriptions and he had an on duty injury. We were not told what the injury is or how it happened. Bail is 480,000. He will be in court on tuesday. But this morning a plane left with refueling two helicopters in flight that may be needed to rescue the family faster if the girls condition worsance. Due to the dist worsens. Ktvus Noelle Walker is live in santa rosa where she learned there are more charges against him now. Reporter no doubt the charges are worrisome to his cub scouts and the parents. But there is no mention of his role as a cub scout leader in the documents. It boils down four years of sexual abuse into four pages. The charnels range from charges, they range from conduct with a minor to possesses child pornography. Reporter in jail on a Million Dollars bail. We requested a jail house meeting with him today hear his side of the story but he declined. His sex abuse with one boy over the course of four years. Starting before the childs 12al birthday and continuing till he was 16. He was a cub scout leader. Leaders emphasize his victim was not a scout.
