Student musicians from campo lindo high school performed right alongsiot the Orinda Library auditorium came together with the goal of raising money for an improved security system. This all comes after thieves broke into the Oakland School for the arts in february. And still more than 30,000 worth of instruments over a two day period. Died. That they were able to come out and also that this was given like a platform to help bring awareness that the suffering that school versus has because obviously with it being an art school. This is just a small town about 40 minutes west of tallahassee and where im standing is where the worst of the damage was done in this town, according to the National Weather service, and preliminarily, they found this to be an e f two tornado. Now residents that were here that ive spoken with. Theyre saying the same thing. Theyre grateful despite the damage that was done , im thankful were alive. I dont care nothing about this. Im just thankful me and her alive. Everyone is ok. Yeah, its the material things that are lost. And that is okay. If you take a look behind me, you can see some of the damage is really hard to tell exactly what was what for this family home right here. But as we turn around, you can see even behind them their property. A lot of the trees were snapped in half. You can see isolation, just covering a lot of it. And then off to my left. You can see this is another family home where a couples act here. The roof is gone, and the exposed. Now the National Weather to be along the state road that these homes are off of. Going back into the center of town. There are lots of snapped and uprooted trees, some outbuildings destroyed and minor roof damage throughout town. In response to this, several agencies were here on friday, clearing debris, which was largely trees trying to make way for people to access their property. Now i know power. I just checked on that thats essentially restored and he said, theres maybe, like one or two homes that theyre having to, you know, do a few more things to get them restored. What else needs to be done . The biggest thing is just to clean up like theyre doing here. What youre just witnessed people cleaning up the yard getting it all done, and then we can haul it away. You know, the county has been very gracious and were going to be able to haul this up way to a site, so its out of the way of the residents and we can get back to normal life eventually. This is the long range, okay, were going to start off with the forecast with a long range model, which isnt super accurate, but it gives you a basic idea whats coming so here we are through tomorrow mostly cloudy here we are into tomorrow night in tuesday that looks wet. If you can see us in that spin right there. And rotation stays at the top assist of us to wednesday. And then partially into thursday, so this whole week is going to be marked for the chance of a shower. A scattered shower maybe a thunder shower and the big thing youll notice well below average temperatures and certainly cooler than what we experienced last week, so the trend is underway. It started, uh, cooling on thursday believe or not. Thursday was max heat day, but temperatures were pleasant on the weekends still in the eighties and nineties. And then its dropped off to the point where tomorrow were going to see highs cooler than these guys from today. Highest tomorrow are going to be upper sixties and some low seventies so a lot of clouds a little bit of everything out there and a very different week. Coming our way as you see that San Franciscos partly cloudy you know its going to be cloudy, pretty much on and off for the rest of this week. So just again, a big change from we experienced last week, so in terms of umbrella weather tuesday looks like your best shot for some showers and then into wednesday as well. Its this system up here, and that system is going to drop down, and thats that. Thats that low. This guy here its spinning like this. Then its gonna drop down further and its going to be just sitting off our coast. It already kind of is. Part of it is the main low. Itll just sit there, and its not really attached well to the jet stream. So its almost a cut off, which just means its going to hang and linger. For the bulk of this week, which means really, almost anything could happen, but for sure its going to be cooler for sure its going to be cloudy and then scattered showers are in the forecast pretty much each day through thursday, even into friday, but right now tuesday looks like the best shot for your scattered showers. So if we look at the future council model, um you can see the clouds out there. Now you can see this system kind of wind up tomorrow all day. So this is into tomorrow night. Its a about mostly to partly cloudy all day. And then as we get into monday night, late tomorrow night late in tuesday, you see the activity. The dynamics get closer to us. So by tuesday night tuesday morning, we start seeing the showers developed in the mountains. Also you snow at higher elevations. The snowmelt will slow down. The melting will slow down, obviously, because its not going to be as hot as it has been. And then you see the low starts to back off this way, which is unusual, right . Retro grading. Its going the wrong way, and thats going to pull moisture from this year in nevada up over the cross across Northern California and up from the central valley, so tuesday looks like kind of our best day for potential weather. But wednesday and thursday a real possibility as well. So whats it mean . It means highs today were in the seventies. Pardon me. Highest tomorrow are going to look like these and so air quality. No spare the air days with this pattern because the inversions getting lifted out the winds will blow. Its just one of those patterns. Its going to basically set us up with all sorts of good air quality, but unsettled conditions. So when you look at the five day forecast, thats what youre going to see. Youre going to see a whole bunch. Whole bunch of clouds are on the five day starts on monday with increasing clouds. And then on tuesday, you see thats our best shot for showers. But i got a chance in on wednesday. I would have put a chance in on thursday, but i thought id give you a break, even though theres a pretty good chance for scatter shower on thursday, so there you go and look at the temperatures, so wow, its like weather whiplash for sure, compared to what we had last week. And then you can see right on through the weekend. It continues. So and maybe on friday and saturday. Theres a chance for a shower to maybe, but theres a chance as long as that looked at low sits there, and thats where thats cut off low and gets detached from the jets room. It just floats around out there and causes all sorts of problems. So the forecast models hate these. I hate them. Everybody hates them because theyre hard to time out. Right now.
