Reporter no Security Guards around she thought it was a terrorist attack immediately running to the door. Thats when she says the suspects catapulted her out of the store. The impact was so great that they probably just sent me air lifted on down and my head was bleeding really bad. Reporter lying on the curb she thought she was paralyzed. Four robbers were last seen driving off in a black discharge charger. Los gatos police arent releasing Surveillance Video of the suspects saying the investigation is ongoing and theyre working to see if the suspects are involved in other crimes of the bay area. Everybody was shocked about it, we heard about it. Its like oh my god thats her age, you know, she is very lucky. The department of Homeland Security announced tough new security measures today for all commercial flights coming to the united states. The new rules will impact some 2,000 flights a day. So this new security measure would impact all passengers on some 180 airlines who operate twice coming into the united states. At sfo passengers arriving on International Flights had mixed feelings about security screenings. It wasnt as strict as over here. I dont think the standards should be different for different countries. They should be standardized and the same across the board. Travel ban that was partly reinstated by the u. S. Supreme court on monday. The Trump Administration is giving itself until 5 00 tomorrow to implement the ban on travelers from six majority muslim countries. The administration has also defined who qualifies as a close Family Member in the u. S. To allow people from those six countries to apply for a visa. They include a parent, spouse, children, adults, son or daughter, soninlaw, daughter inlaw, or sibling. Police in san jose are investigating a shooting that left a man dead and a woman injured. It happened just before 9 00 this morning on creston lane. Investigators say a woman called police saying she had been shot. When officers arrived on the scene they also found a man fatally wounded in the middle of the street. The Woman Told Police the man tried to kill her before turning the gun on himself. At this point we have reason to believe he shot the female victim. Then shot himself committing suicide. Investigators are not saying what their relationship was, only that they were, known to each other. The woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. A man accused of shooting a Sacramento County sheriffs deputy with his own gun has an extensive criminal record here in the bay area. 27yearold nicory spann is originally from san jose. A spokesperson tells us he was accused of a 2008 double homicide in mountainview, but the charges were later dropped. Instead spann pleaded no contest to lesser charges of receiving stolen property and being an accessory after the fact. Now spann is accused of attempted murder for the shooting yesterday of 25year old deputy alex ladwick. Hes in stable condition after being shot in the jaw. Now to fremont where potential new evidence in a cold case as investigators are hoping they could solve a 28 yearold mystery. Sherry lynn was last seen in 1989 at a home on decoto drive in fremont. Her boyfriend at the time said he saw her before he left for work that morning, but when he got home sherry was gone. A church now stands where the home was once located. We believe that we can help find sherry. That is the biggest part of it. Yeah, we want to arrest somebody if that is the case. But really the most important thing is closure for her family as well as closure to find out where she is at. So theres got to be somebody out there if you either witnessed this that didnt come up to the police before or know something with additional evidence. Police say sherrys boyfriend was a person of interest at the time. He was questioned some years after her disappearance, but wouldnt agree to a polygraph test. Anyone with information on the disappearance of sherry lynn should contact fremont police. Bart says all of their train cars now have working surveillance cameras. The 1. 4 million project to install the cameras was launched last year after it was revealed no cameras recorded a deadly shooting on board a train at the west oakland station. It turned out twothirds of the cameras on bart trains were just decoys and didnt work. Bart now says they have the cameras on board all 669 train cars. If youre a victim of the crime, bart says take note of the car number because thatll help bart police retrieve the video. A new Bike Sharing Service rolled out in San Francisco today after modifying its pricing platform. It eases the concerns of existing bike rental shops. San jose city leaders are cracking down on food giveaways for the homeless at st. James park. They started notifying the homeless advocacies. Citing health and safety concerns, they say the needy should be cared for by established programs that provide food and other services. The crack down could end a long tradition of groups providing free food for the homeless and hungry in the parks downtown san jose. In Alameda County, initiatives to hire people who have been released from jail or prison have fallen far short of their mission. And the goal of the reentry hiring initiative is to provide 1,400 jobs with the county. But now a year later, only five people would get fulltime work. County Officials Say the problem is not that many level entry jobs opened up with the county, but theyre working to bring in employees to help with the effort from the private sector. Today the Supreme Court ruled against the city. The state law allows california landlords to evict their tenants without showing the usual legal grounds for eviction. The San Francisco board of supervisors voted unanimously to pay for a pay gap policy. The vote was unanimous. Its said to be one of the strongest equal pay policies in the country prohibiting employers from asking job applicants about past Salary History and applies to all employers in San Francisco including their subcontractors and contractors. Itll be out of the marine influence, right . A little higher or further east, so its not impacting itself. Theyll be one of the warmer cities. Around the bay they will stay clear. Quality is good with this pattern. Fire danger is always high. 80 in cupertino and santa cruz youll get up to 73 tomorrow. Along the coast youll get some fog. A nice looking pattern.
