Azenith, both women in these cases describe the same suspect . Reporter police tell me they are reinterviewing the women. Give these a given these assaults happened right in front of the dorms. Reporter police are making their presence known near escondido road following two groping incidents on campus friday night. Its always pretty horrible to hear about. And i know it because i live right down there happening pretty close too. Reporter the sophomore lives near this place. The suspect is still on the loose. Its a little scary thinking they could be just like a student in one of my classes. Like you never know. Reporter police have released limited information about the assaults. Their first one happened friday night at 10 40 in the evening on escondido road. A man groped a woman while walking. The suspect is described as a bald white man approximately five feet six inches tall. Then 20 minutes later a second assault a few blocks away. The victim a female jogging. The suspect had a similar description, but was wearing different clothes. Police have not said if it is the same man. I just think it is interesting both descriptions are similar. Whenever i hear anything like that happening on stanfords campus, i immediately get frustrated and im tired. Reporter receive fee founded the Sexual Assault pre stephanie founded the Sexual Assault prevention group. I have gotten many emails regarding groping incidents or sexual batteries on campus. And i think therefore its a problem that has yet to be addressed. Reporter University Police say they are talking to the victims to get an age range of the suspect. In the meantime Police Advise students to play it safe. To walk to never walk alone at night. For people to be more knowledgeable and aware of these kinds of events. I think its the first step. Reporter police are encouraging students to use roads with these blue emergency safety towers, so if they need to they can call 911. Police are working with the victims to possibly provide a sketch of the suspect and well provide that to you if and when that becomes available. Definitely good advice, azenith. The chp released more details today about a driveby shooting yesterday in the east bay in which a panhandler was injured. Investigators say the woman was with another panhandler and was shot in the leg about 3 30 yesterday afternoon on highway 4 near the lone tree way offramp in antioch. She was taken to a hospital, treated, then released. The other person was not hurt. As we have been reporting, there has been an increase in highway shootings here in the bay area. On both sides of the freeway. Many people did go to the driver of the honda and tried to get him out of the vehicle. They said the driver of the lexus t1yearold jerry tram and his passenger were both taken to the hospital. Both are expected to survive. He was arrested on suspicion of dui. Alameda county firefighters were able to help out this weekend with a rather unusual rescue. And a cute one. They pulled 11 ducklings from the storm drain in newark. And they put them in a five gallon bucket. This video was posted on instagram as you can see the firefighters, they were then releasing the tiny birds in a nearby creek. It was organized by the non profit women for equality and the unity of sacramento church. Firefighters in martinez say they are treating an Early Morning car fire outside a home as suspicious. It happened just before 2 00 this morning on phyllis terrace. Firefighters say a family was inside at time, but they were able to make it out safely. A neighbor told us he heard what sounded like a bomb going off. He went to see what was happening and saw a car burning in the driveway of the home. In five minutes the car was engulfed. Just a massive flame. It caught the next car on fire and the foot of the garage on fire. I would say within seven minutes, it was just a huge fire. And before all that happened, there was that huge bang, i mean it happened before the fire started. The most explosion you have ever heard. We heard parts of the vehicle on fire. The fire spread to a second car and damaged the exterior of the house with no injuries. Firefighters have not said why they consider the fire suspicious. An investigation is underway in union city tonight after a car slammed into a home on cambridge way. It happened north of dyer street about half way between the onramps to the san mateo bridge. Fire crews were called to the scene turning off the water and power to that home immediately. Its not clear what caused that driver to hit the house. It looks like most of the damage is limited to the homes garage. No news good news though, no one was hurt. After the disappearance of a 20yearold yuba college student, another young female has been reported missing out of Sutter County. And it is just like a big bubble of joy. She is incredibly funny. Reporter her sister sammy and mother say annie went missing wednesday night after taking a break in Sutter County. About five minutes after she had gotten up and walked out to take a break, i went out to look for her. Reporter her mother couldnt find her. Shortly before that a family friend saw her walking in the Church Parking lot towards a nearby orchard. And are you doing okay . She said im struggling with some things. Then she said i just need a few minutes and ill be in a minute. Then she never came back in. Reporter the Security Officers looked for her on atvsin those orchards, but came up with nothing. We walked all the way to the other end of the property ask and didnt see her. We checked around the building. Live oak boulevard is here, yuba city is that way. Reporter now after hearing about other missing person cases in the area including 20 yearold allie yoman, annies mother is worried sick. They cant tell me whether they are connected and that i shouldnt worry about that. However he doesnt know what happened to annie, so i dont know how you can make that conclusion. Reporter while detectives are looking into her disappearance, she is also frustrated the department of justice and the Sutter County Sheriffs Office have listed her as a runaway in online posters. Im not saying its possible, but im saying its unlikely. All right, some scary moments for parents and children in South Carolina after church celebrations. They turned to chaos and several children are injured when their bounce house goes airborne. Plus, more chances of rain this week for parts of the bay area. Another live view of the bay bridge. Reporter it was suppose to be a fun saturday for those attending a small carnival at the stringwell church in taylors. But Mother Nature quickly turned things upside down just after 2 00 p. M. For everyone, literally. A witness still in shock asking us not to use his name. Everybody was just enjoying themselves with a calm day, no wind blowing and all of a sudden it showed up. He says the house was anchored down with stakes and straps. When the second house went up, i had felt my kids on it. And we dove on to it and held on to try to bring it to the ground and it just took us up and took us into the power lines and broke all the power lines and we landed out in the middle. Reporter here is video of the bistandard shooting. He saw the stakes in the ground that initially secured the inflatables. There were stakes in the ground everywhere. Reporter despite the five injuries, two were severe according to reed. The situation could have been much worse if the power lines were live when they went down. Fortunately they were dead when we hit the ground or we could have had fatalities, no telling what could have happened. Reporter he credits everyone from the volunteers to some of his offduty personnel to stepping up when things turn for the worst. The church released this statement. We are sadden for those who were injured during the unfortunate accident today. We join their families in prayer for full recovery. It is scary. Yeah, it certainly is.
