We have a great day. I know you enjoyed the day yesterday. Absolutely. Spent half a day at work, but the rest of the day i know you were outside enjoying things. We do have few clouds out there this morning, there are few rain showers. Theyre off to the north and the west. And it is not totally out of the picture. We can see couple here as we move through the afternoon but this will not be a wash out day. It is just a day that has few clouds. Yesterday, looked great. 81 degrees was our high temperature, and we made be may be a couple of degrees over that today. Sixtysix on weathernet work out in redding this morning. Looks nice there. But also notice that some clouds are going on in reading at this point. And they are in a number of other locations, as well. The temperatures, though, yesterday morning we tide record up in trenton at 53 degrees. This morning, you are almost 10 degrees warmer than that. In philadelphia, right now 65 degrees allentown 61, in the 50s, 57 in the poconos yesterday morning we were at what 48 degrees, so everybody at least a lot of these outlying areas about 9 degrees warmer this morning than last morning. But even so, these are some very comfortable temperatures to start the day. Sixtytwo down in millville. Now, storm scan3 i was talking about there is and you can see that some of these heavier showers moving into the poconos, many other locations are just pick being up couple of hundreds of an inch of rain. So, thats to the north. This is in advance of a cold front. And this cold front is moving very slowly. So these showers should they hang together, will be slow to move across, right now through, in fact, all every south jersey, philadelphia delaware, not looking at any showers at this point. But we cant totally rule that out. But, again, i think it is best not to focus on what might be 5 percent of your day versus the 95 probably like. We have temperatures today that will be in the 80s that front slowly comes through here, doesnt have a lot of moisture, and then by the time we get to monday, looks great by the way then tuesday, we that front and maybe low pressure along that front triggering couple of other showers for us. Time it out 9 00 this morning, few of these showers possibly reaching philadelphia noon, maybe not that much, by 3 00 p. M. Scattered around, other areas are clearing out some areas have a few clouds. We see this again. And then it is gone. And then that leaves us on a great day for monday. So i think you will love monday humidity remains low tomorrow, as well. And tuesday we start to pick up few more clouds as that front gets closer and low pressure rides along it then we will be left with maybe some showery conditions at that point. Otherwise today just know i have got partly sunny here, but tucked in the back of your minds is that slight chance of picking up a shower, same deal at the shore 82 degrees, and the poconos 75, where we are seeing the showers already this morning. If you are going to the beach low risk of rip currents, the uv index is seven, so not as high as it can get. Still you know you can get burned through any clouds you find down there. Eight a degrees sun and clouds, shower around, which is my way of sort of lets focus on something else, unless you want the showers, then i hope up get as many as you want. 65 degrees, mostly clear comfortable temperatures tonight, again. Tomorrow looks lovely. Eight a degrees, tuesday, 81 chance of a shower, maybe even thunderstorm, wednesday, 84, thursday, maybe another chance of a shower, the humidity does start to pick up. Temperatures dont as we go through the week, liz . Well, thank you, carol. If you are not going to the beach, perhaps youre doing some back to school shopping. The air temperature will be right about 80, 82 degrees, so looks like nice day coming up in Atlantic City. We head to reading doesnt look quite as bright. Notice the clouds were finding out there 66 degrees the present temperature not much in the way of winds. We take a look at storm scan3 you can see why youve got few more clouds to the north and not in Atlantic City at this point. Thats because we do see moisture up there. Were finding some showers as well. Lets go in little closer, find out who is getting what at this point this morning. And you can see, that the poconos have seen some showers, seeing in a couple of spots locally heavier amounts and these are pressing down in, so theyre pressing their way toward the allentown area, pottsville, also seeing some of them, and reading you may be getting couple of showers as well, out of this. Not totally out of the question that we wont be completely rainfree today. We could be finding few of these showers coming in. Most of the time, today we will be rain free. But we cant totally rule out shower. Sixtyfive in philadelphia, right now, 62 trenton 61 degrees in wilmington, in the 50s in the poconos. Our temperatures this afternoon, maybe little bit warmer than yesterday. Yesterday stopped at 81, today we should be about eight a degrees. And remember, we do have that slight chance of picking up some of these showers. This computer model says by 9 00 we might even be finding them through the philadelphia area, and by the time we hit 3 00, 4 00 in the afternoon we could be finding few others before they leave the building. And we will be checking on the rest of that forecast and what the next seven days will bring weather wise coming up. Liz . Thank you carol. Weve a great looking day today. Look at the sun thats coming. Oh that isnt a hail low, is it . Just the sun. But look at this. Beautiful start to the day at the shore. There are clouds today noter shore ours looking at just terrific wet they are morning. We have blue skies for the most part over philadelphia, as well so gorgeous start here. You have to go further back to the north and the west, and show now in a second on storm scan3 to fine the showers that are out there. Neighbors 30 miles away, 56 degrees in philadelphia, right now 62, trenton 60 degrees in wilmington, it is 59 down in millville and we have 57 degrees up in the poconos. These are nice cool, comfortable temperatures, and they are a lot warmer than they were yesterday morning at this point, especially through the outlying areas. But, look at wildwood, already, at seven ooh degrees this morning. We widen this picture out. That is front thats coming in our direction. But, not much of one. Look at these temperatures this morning through st. Louis, 75 degrees, des moines, 65 minneapolis 70 degrees. We will be watching these temperatures changing, though, and everybody gets slightly cooler. But not a lot. This is cool front versus a cold front. And i mention the showers. You can see that theyve been out toward pottsville, weve seen them up in the poconos also watching them as they move on down and head into the lehigh valley. So couple of showers not out of the question. Most of them are pretty light. As you can tell, just by the green colors. When you start to see the yellows, you start to pick up little bit heavier. And if you saw an orange color on radar map even little heavier. Not a lot of that going on out there, but we do have some of the showers that are starting to move in, reading just about to get little bit of moisture out of. This so this cool front comes through our temperatures today get into the middle 80s then, this stalls out. Stalls out to the south of us tomorrow. Even so, nice looking day coming up. And the humidity will remain low tomorrow. Low pressure rides along this that means by the time we get to tuesday, we could be looking at some showers. Some models say specially in the morning on tuesday but we will just keep it in the forecast on tuesday for now. 9 00 this morning few of those showers that we had to the north and the west, are they moving through the philadelphia area . Notice, that theyre pretty scattered in nature. We do get some clouds, we get few other scattered showers by noon, and then by the time we hit 3 00, 4 00 this afternoon we have few showers scattered around. We haves sunshine, that is scattered around. So, it is a day that is not all that bad. It is not as probably as great as it was on friday, and or saturday, but still not all that bad. And then as we move on into monday and tuesday we will be starting to watch just general increase in cloud cover though this computer model really didnt want to put much there. So we continue to monitor that one. Otherwise, 85 today slight chance after shower, lets mostly focus on sunday and clouds, 82 at the shore, same story. And the poconos 75 degrees, where we have been seeing some showers this morning. So little bit cooler there. Not bad though, eight a degrees, middle of august, we will take it. We have no choice of course. 65 degrees tonight. Winds out of the northwest five to 10 miles an hour, next couple of days, looking nice, notice comfortable temperatures every single day. Humidity start to pick up though starting on tuesday. But still these temperatures in the lower to mid 80s at most, not bad for this time of the year. Liz . Sounds good to me, thank you, carol.
