Their lawsuit accuses the department of education of failing to protect them. That federal lawsuit is a class action suit filed last night involving ten kids ranging in age from 7 to 14 years old. Some in highprofile incidents involving student on student or teacher on student violence. Things like being choked by other students, being attacked or verbally and physically abused by teachers or the failure of the department of education to grant a School Transfer after an incident. Part of the lawsuits conclusion states in part, quote, based on these actions and inactions in violation of lawful procedures, the Department Much education is denying named class manufactures and other students similarly situated with their enjoyment of a constitutional right for theyre asking for them to come up with new regulations or enforce the ones they currently have.
