Theyre not thinking about that. But i have to tell you when you look at the way these two teams have matched up throughout the season, the indians have taken 11 out of 12 from one of their fiercest rivals. They have years back when the tigers owned the tribe. Thats why theyre in this position right now. The indians are in great shape. When i talk to terry francona, i asked him about the knockout blow. And well see what happens with this first batch of rain. I have a hunch that a lot of this is going to weaken by the time it gets to us here because theres better dynamics, better moisture out to the west. So as this moves east, again, it is going to run into some dryer air. But later on tonight going into tomorrow morning, better here. So here we go with the latest future view run. 8 00 to 11 00 still pretty dry. Here is 2 00 in the morning. We could have a few showers out to the west. Watch what happens by 8 00 tomorrow morning. Thats when were going to have showers and storms around. Its not going to be raining all of the time. In fact, late morning, early afternoon, we could have a little dry period here before the showers and storms pick back up. The Coverage Later on in the afternoon going i tomorrow. So a little concerned about the tribe game tomorrow night. But were going to have showers and storms in the forecast. But here is the change on sunday. Not as great of a chance, even though we have the front coming through. I have just isolated showers and storms around. Now, with the increase in the moisture, its going to be pretty warm tonight for this time of year. In fact, 11 00 many spots still in the 70s. And even 2 00 in the morning. Summertime feel out there and at progressive field. 77 at first pitch. We only drop down to about 75. Beautiful night for baseball. Partly cloudy sky to begin the first game of that big series. East wind 8 to 13 knots out there on the lake this evening. And you have waves only around a foot. We drop down to 69. Thats warm for this time of year and humid. And then waves of rain and storms tomorrow. Humid. 79 will be the high. Here is the planner. 79 mostly cloudy. Rain and storms. 74 at 11 00. And upper 70s at 2 00 and 5 00 for that high close to 80. 65 tomorrow night. More showers and storms. And there is the change. We took out the alert. The afternoon. So it could rain a little bit at the browns game. 81, though. Its going to be warm. Monday sunny, 80. Tuesday sunny. Right around 80. Becoming partly cloudy wednesday. I have it dry for the most part next week. Denise all right. Jeff once we get into the weekend, a little bit of a dry spell. Denise today was beautiful. Jeff not as beautiful as you, coming up next, a 9 11 survivor talking with local school kids. Many of whom were too young to remember that day. Were going to hear his powerful im Hillary Clinton and i approve this message. Donald trump says he alone can fix the problems we face. Well i dont believe thats how you get things done in our country. It takes democrats and republicans working together. Thats how we got health care for 8 million kids. Rebuilt new york city after 9 11. And got the treaty cutting russias nuclear arms. Weve got to bring people together. Thats how you solve problems and thats what Michael Hingston talking to High School Students about the day terrorists flew into the world trade center. The freshman class would have been too young when 9 11 happened. For them its a historical event that has not changed the way they live. Thats because most of todays High School Students never truly experienced that day in history. Thats why its so important for people like hingston to talk about it. We have to get out of here. The building is on you have the picture. The blind guy is saying slow down. Is that contrary to good thinking or what. Except one small thing. David was not observing what i was observing. Donald trump who spent months suggesting the president was not born in the United States finally conceded that, indeed, he was born an american. Ryan noble is live in washington dc. Ryan got asked will trumps admission put this issue to rest or will it stoke some embers. Reporter i think thats a good way to put it. I think today trump reignited this been talking about for some time and he took it a step further when he laid the blame on Hillary Clinton. In many ways, it was the launch of Donald Trumps campaign for president. You are not allowed to be a president if youre not born in this country. Why doesnt he show his birth certificate. Reporter a protracted public spat over where president obama was born. A spat that led to the president releasing his long form birth certificate. And while trump eventually dropped the issue. I would want to look at it. The president was born in the u. S. Until friday morning. 52 days before the 2016 president ial election. Barack obama was born in the United States period. Reporter trumps concession comes after dancing around the issue. And with the caveat that he believes he is not to blame for the controversy. Hillary clinton started the birther controversy. I finished it. Reporter there was never any wasnt born in the United States and zero proof that Hillary Clinton had anything to do with making it an issue. But the Clinton Campaign wants voters, especially africanamerican voters, to know that trump was wrong and in their mind offensive. His campaign was founded on this outrageous lie. There is no erasing it in history. Reporter trump did not take questions explaining his change of heart instead making a pitch honoring veterans for supporting his campaign. The Clinton Campaign argued his brief statement was not nearly enough. Campaign manager robbie mook called his actions disgraceful and sickening. And a poll taken by cnn one year ago this month showed that 80 of americans believe that barack obama was, indeed, born in the United States. Chris and denise. Denise all right, ryan. The Trump Campaign has had a number in the past 24 hours. Tells us more about that. Yes, denise, the relationship between donald trump and his press has gotten increasingly frosty with the day. Its at a whole new level over the past 24 hours. Trump has a group of journalists that travel with him everywhere and usually his stuff doesnt start until that group of journalistses is with him at his event. But yesterday he left them sitting on an airport tarmac 30 minutes away when the event started and started without them. They didnt get there until there was only three minutes left in his speech. And then today there is a Smaller Group of reporters called a pool that is used to kind of just go into smaller venues. Today trump was supposed to take a tour of his new dc hotel and they left the editorial producer out of that pool. This is someone that could ask questions and make sure that this particular arrangement was not just an Trump Campaign. Theres a serious lack of transparency here with trump as he begins to increasingly keep the press away from his events. Its even that if youre not a fan of the press, and polls show people are skeptical of us and the media, this is not good for democracy and we are 52 days away from the president ial with the media as well. Thanks. Senator Bernie Sanders will campaign for Hillary Clinton in our area. He has Public Events talking about education. You want to rsvp, though. We have a link on our poop. The artist wants to have it auctioned off. There were more in other cities. The proceeds would go to benefit funding public art in coventry to establish initial funding at heights arts for future public art projects in Cleveland Heights. All i have to say is nobody needs to see all of that. That statue is just not no one needs to see that. No. Niece any but, hey, if its helping out the arts, god bless portion of that statue. Try to figure out what part we were blocking. Okay. Never mind. Lets go to the alert tonight and tomorrow. Not so much this evening. Its going to be later on tonight and then through the day tomorrow and even tomorrow night. But we took out the alert for sunday which means were not expecting enough rain to have an alert going. It will just be more isolated stuff. So it is looking better now for the browns game. At least thats my thought and it starts after 11 00. So over night going into tomorrow morning, thats when we could see one wave. Then perhaps a bit of a break and then later on in the afternoon once we get some daytime heating going. But i do want to repeat that we are not anticipating severe storms. All right. These arent going to be big explosive thunderstorms. Yes, you could have some downpours, but i dont think its going to be too serious of a situation. But it could be enough to ruin your outdoor plans tomorrow. So, again, that will start later on tonight. Waves of rain and storms sunday afternoon. Front comes through and the extended forecast is looking pretty dry. It is warm. 82 in cleveland right now. We did make it up to 83. The humidity is going up. So it will be a warmer night tonight. Sandusky 79. Akroncanton 81. Look at mansfield there at 81. And wooster is at 80. So for the weekend, i always want to remind everybody download the app. We have a ten day forecast on there. And when you customize it to your neighborhood, you get the updates on the hourlies. And it looks similar to this where 7 00, 76 is the cleveland forecast. And then there you go. 3 00 in the morning, see those thunderstorm icons. 5 00 a. M. So thats when the first wave could get in. Notice how the chance of rain goes up. And its going to be warm. In fact, 5 00 in the morning, the app is indicating temperatures still around 70 in the cleveland but waves of showers and storms coming through. Its going to be humid. So a little sticky feel out there. And as far as the planner goes, look at that. 7 00 a. M. , were still around 70. Rain and storms at noon. 74. And then 5 00 mostly cloudy. Muggy and showers and storms in the area. Akroncanton 76 degrees with showers and storms for you. All right. If youre going out to the friday night football game. I think youre going to be good. In fact, pretty nice evening coming up. Good for the tribe game at least tonight. But then watch what happens here over night going into tomorrow morning. By 8 00 a. M. , this is that first wave i was telling you about and that wave that the app was showing you here. And then we could get into a bit of a break. So thats what im talking about here. Its not going to be an all day thing. But then 2 00 to 5 00 tomorrow afternoon, thats when we could be looking ate and storms. And its going to be warm. Tonight 8 00 temps still well in the 70s. Thats above normal. 11 00, we dont really drop much. And even over night, 2 00 in the morning, were still going to be around 70. And even into early in the morning there as that first wave of rain comes into play. Much more on the weekend. Well talk about that smaller chance of rain on sunday and the extended forecast looking pretty guys, back to you. Denise jeff, thanks.
