melissa. >> we will track jose as we go throughout the rest of our weekend and early next week. jose is still a hurricane, jose is a hurricane i should say, it is about to the southwest of bermuda and 480 miles to the south/ southeast of cape hatteras, north carolina what we have noticed, two noticeable changes with the track of jose. one it is starting to shift to the east and also by the time it reaches our latitude it will be downgraded to a tropical storm. so here's the very late west jose. it is moving north at 6 miles an hour. as we put this into motion here notice tracks from what we aired earlier today, and even last night, it is shifting a little further east and also by the time it reaches our latitude this is more than likely going to be a tropical storm as we get into tuesday afternoon. nonetheless this is something we will be watching, as we go throughout the rest of our weekend. as far as chance of tropical storm wind on its closest path to our region it is a 10 percent chance of finding tropical storm force wind across the jersey shore even into the delaware beaches. we will keep you posted on that. back here at home certainly a great start to the last weekend of summer. we had a high of 87. we are coming in at 79 in the city, 68 in the poconos and 78 . the phillies are playing later on tonight for a couple of minutes, partly cloudy, early showers likely, first pitch temperatures around 78. once we get in the ninth inning we will drop down to 73 we have more details on this, walter plus jose coming up in the full accu weather forecast >> keeping an eye on jose as well, thanks, melissa. keep tabs on jose with the latest local forecast, down load six abc app for your phone or tablet. real time views from storm tracker six live to six abc app is a free down load for your mobile device. meanwhile we have more on the aftermath of hurricane armored, road to lower key west will reopen tomorrow morning but city's marries warning everyone that the keys are very different then before the storms. twenty-one hurricane ravaged neighborhoods are now guarded by checkpoints and only people who can prove their residency are allowed to go in. power service is still spotted as is sewer and water service. neighbors return to the upper keys, are still struggling to find food, but tonight, there are more than 20,000 troops there working together to help get that region back on its feet. in other news tonight, investigators trying trying to figure out why a septa train filled with passengers partially derailed in northern liberties. it happened at 11:00 a.m. at spring garden station. "action news" reporter annie mccormack is live at the scene with the very latest, annie. >> reporter: and walter, shuttles are operating to the market frankford line, passengers between eighth and berk, this is because the power is still shut down, between those stops, and septa continues to investigate what happened this morning. chopper 6hd over a partial train derailment, saturday morning, just after 11:00 on septa's market frankford line. the train heading eastbound from center city to the frankford transportation center, came to a halt near the spring garden stop. >> you came out of the tunnel, the car just derailed, i thought it was about to tip over and go into the expressway actually... i was scared, shaken up my entire life. >> reporter: after walking to safety passengers were ushered on to waiting shuttles. >> we waited for them to turn the power off. then we were able to walk through the train, fire fighters were there to help. we didn't know first part of the derailment before we walked through the car that derailed. >> reporter: ard could go to septa medics tend todd one person suffering from heat exhaustion, no other injuries were reported. and in a statement released by septa officials they say at the time cars were operating on a single track system due to construction. the train was crossing over from the eastbound to westbound side, when the lead car partially derailed. a train was traveling at a slow rate of speed. in recent months septa has had two other incidents, both at upper darby 69th street station, a crash in august, on the norristown high speed line , injured 33 people, and in february a derailment and crash injured four people. in those other incidents the ntsb did send investigators down to look and work on those incidents that did happen, however in, this situation, septa officials say the ntsb is not going to investigate, it is being handled on a local level. reporting live from spring garden, annie mccormack for channel six "action news". walter, back to you. thanks for that report. police in atlantic county are investigating a double homicide that took place earlier this morning. just before 1:30 a.m. officers were called to weed road in buena bureau when they found a man and woman inside a vehicle dead from gunshot wound. neither have been identified and no arrest where is made. shoot-out side of a bar ended with one person killed and two people injured last night in north philadelphia. it happened at 11:00 p.m. on the 2400 block of germantown avenue. a security guard told police he saw a man opened fire shoot ing two people. that guard drew his own gun and shot at alleged gunman. the suspect was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later no word tonight whether any charges might be pending. a navy sailor from new jersey who was killed, when a ship collided with an oil tanker was laid to rest to day fellow sailors, stood outside saint andrews methodist church , in cherry hill, to pay tribute to the petty officer kennett aaron smith, smith, a 2/13 graduate from cherry hill high school was serving on board u.s.s. john s mccain when the accident took place. he was among 10 sailors killed smith was only 22 years old. state police flags are flying at half staff today in new castle county delaware this were lowered in honor of lieutenant joseph szczerba who was stabbed and killed by a suspect on september 16th in 2011. county officials say certificate about a's courage continues to inspire that, community. flags will remain lowered all throughout the weekend. well, piece of american history right out of the civil rights era is being remembered , with a new historical marker. today the state of delaware un veiled a marker, for the 1959 collins park bombings. the rayfield a black family moved in the home on delanco lane. their home was bombed, twice by white families who opposed their neighborhood being integrated. the family was eventually forced to move. state officials say that marker will now serve as an important reminder, of america 's historic struggle for equality, and help. two dogs are safe tonight being rescued from a storm drain in bucks county. neighbors from this part of the lower southampton heard dogs barking and called fire fighters for help. woodbury. unless to gibbs bureau. the showers will be around for the first half of the evening hours, and then we will see them dissipate throughout the rest of tonight. before the showers moved on in it was a truly nice start to the last weekend of summer. yeah, high today in philadelphia 87. right now we're coming in at 72 in the city with rain cooled air. eighty in allentown. same thing for reading, over in the poconos 68. down in dover 73. cape may coming in at 72. satellite six along with action radar showing you the atmosphere unsettled as we are finding those showers starting to bubble up across the region so these will be around for the first half of tonight and then we will start to clear out. so it is partly cloudy, once the showers dissipate otherwise it will be a mild night, with fog, developing, during the overnight hours, we will drop down to 64 in the suburbs, and 68 degrees in philadelphia, for the overnight low. and nice beach day come sunday partly sunny, nice, high temperature coming in at 77 degrees. ocean temperature in the middle 70's but keep in mind there there is and will be a moderate risk for rip currents throughout the rest of our weekend even into early next week and here's why, with the hurricane jose, winds sustained, at 88 miles an hour as we look at the track of jose, this will continue, to, shift to thee as it reaches our latitude. so that is noticeable change we have seen from the national hurricane center with the latest update with jose and also, you will notice as it reaches our latitude it will weaken, to a tropical storm, as we get into tuesday afternoon. even on its western path, it is still well off shore, of the new jersey beach and also the delaware beaches. nonetheless there will still be indirect impacts as a result of jose as we get into monday evening and into wednesday morning. waves up to 10 feet high, rip currents and is a big concern. beach erosion and you can find gusts anywhere from 30 to 40 miles an hour. but we will keep you posted with the progress of jose as we go throughout the rest of the weekend. here's exclusive seven day forecast. warm and humid tomorrow. high of 83. monday, cloud and sun. in at 78 for a high. tuesday, cloudy, breezy with some late day rain, developing , because of jose, and high temperature in at 75. on wednesday, turning sunny, a high up to 83. and then thursday, we are sunny, nice with a high up to 85. high pressure takes over as we get into the end of next week, fall arrives on friday, high up to 83. and then saturday, we will stay warm,
