Hillary. Hillary clinton must become the next president of the United States. In the wake of that email scandal, the latest on the investigation. Was all the chaos caused by Russian Hackers to sway an American Election . Announcer live from philadelphia, pennsylvania, this is a special edition of Good Morning America, your voice, your vote, the Democratic National convention. And we do say good morning, america. So many people talking about first Lady Michelle obamas moment on that stage last night here at the convention making the case for Hillary Clinton and taking on donald trump without mentioning his name one time. Not even once. We also saw her tear up at the prospect of a woman president. No surprise president obama loved it. Sent out a tweet, incredible speech by an incredible woman. Couldnt be more proud and our country has been blessed to have her as flotus. I love you, michelle. Also bernies night, sanders getting nearly three full minutes of applause when he walked out onto that stage but a lot of his supporters still not convinced that hillary is the one. A lot of anger still out there so democrats are working hard behind the scenes today to quiet any protests. We, of course, will have much more on that. First we want to get to the breaking news overseas. A deadly attack at a french church. Two men taking hostages killing a priest before they were taken down. Abcs lama hasan has the latest. Good morning, lama. Reporter and good morning to you, robin. Yeah, dramatic developments unfolding. Heres what we know, two men armed with knives entered a church near rrouen taking five people hostage among them a priest and two nuns. Police confirming to us the attackers killed a priest and critically injured another hostage. Police rushed to the scene, reports of shots ringing out before the incident ended. With the two attackers killed, there is no claim of responsibility and no motive yet. But the Paris Prosecutors Office has opened a terrorism investigation. The french president and interior minister are now at the scene of the attack. Robin, george. Heartbreaking. Well move on to last nights drama at the Democratic National convention. First Lady Michelle obama as we said wowed the crowd with her takedown of donald trump. Then it was Bernie Sanders turn to try to rally his angry supporters behind Hillary Clinton. Cecilia vega was on the noor for all of it and joins us now. Reporter you know it. What a scene it was in here. Bernie Sanders Bernie tried to pass the baton vowing to do whatever it takes to help her win but from many he faced open rebellion. Reporter the man at the center of a Political Revolution got a threeminute standing ovation. Thank you. Reporter but overnight sanders battle cry for Hillary Clinton Hillary Clinton must become the next president of the United States. Reporter met with defiance, supporters in tears, the california delegation openly booing. On stage sanders trying to play mediator. It is no secret that Hillary Clinton and i disagree on a number of issues. That is what this campaign has been about. That is what democracy is about. Reporter while offstage he pleaded for calm after scenes like this. [ crowd chanting bernie ] reporter delegates shouting at each minutes after the gavel kicked off the convention. Even comedian Sarah Silverman lashing out. Let me say to the bernie or bust people, youre being ridiculous. Reporter but it was Michelle Obama who stole the show. Our motto is when they go low, we go high. Reporter taking on trump. Dont let anyone ever tell you that this country isnt great. That somehow we need to make it great again. Because this right now is the greatest country on earth. Reporter and bringing former president bill clinton to his feet with her endorsement of a previous first lady. And when i think about the kind of president that i want for my girls and all our children, thats what i want, someone who understands that the issues a president faces are not black and white and cannot be boiled down to 140 characters. When you have the Nuclear Codes at your fingertips and the military in your command, you cant make snap decisions. Reporter an emotional mrs. Obama even choking back tears. I wake up every morning in a house that was built by slaves. And i watch my daughters, two beautiful, intelligent black young women, playing with their dogs on the white house lawn. And because of Hillary Clinton, my daughters and all our sons and daughters now take for granted that a woman can be president of the United States. Reporter you could hear it there, those cheers were just deafening. Were told Michelle Obama was heavily involved in writing and editing that speech and also know the speech writer behind those words is the same person who wrote that speech that was borrowed by Melania Trump during last weeks Republican Convention. I can tell you in here that moment when Michelle Obama was on that stage was that one moment that had prolonged, sustained unity in this Convention Hall last night. It was really amazing to be here in for that. Thats right, cecilia. Thank you. Now to that bombshell email hacking scandal targeting the dnc. The fbi investigating accusat n accusations that Vladimir Putin and the russians were trying to sway the election. Abcs brian ross is here right now, has all the latest. Good morning, brian. Good morning, robin. In what is being described as a rapidly expanding fbi investigation, u. S. Law enforcement offs tell abc news the hack was almost certainly a russian intelligence operation designed to affect the American Election. Democratic Party Officials say the hackers malware bug operated inside their computers for at least a year undetected. Im very confident that the malware that we looked at were russian actors. Reporter investigators dissected the computers code and said they found clear evidence pointing to russia including the use of a russian alphabet keyboard. The time zones that it was compiled in, the language that the keyboards were set to, this absolutely was not an amateur operation. Reporter and the timing as democrats arrived in philadelphia was clearly no accident either. One of the leaked emails reveals how supposedly neutral dnc staffers considered planting stories that Bernie Sanders was an atheist. Another that his campaign was a mess. Theres got to be an effort to undermine the Democratic Party and try to undermine Hillary Clinton. Reporter democrats see a russia conspiracy by Vladimir Putin to help donald trump, something his Campaign Manager strongly denied to george on this week. Are there any ties between mr. Trump, you or your campaign and putin and his regime . No, there are not. Its absurd and, you know, no basis to it. [ speaking a Foreign Language ] reporter but putin has frequently praised trump as bright and talented and trump returns the favor. I think id get along very well with Vladimir Putin. I just think so. People say, what do you mean . I think i had a get along well with him. Reporter in his business dealings trump and his children regularly sought investments in projects an the world from russian billionaires and millionaires. Thank you to reporter including one who served as the host of trump during the Miss Universe contest three years ago. Democratic Party Officials say there are many, many more emails including some possibly from the Clinton Foundation that they know were stolen and have yet to be made and fear it will come during the course of the campaign. Lets talk to robby mook. How about that concern there are more emails to come, maybe even some as some sources said from Hillary Clintons personal server, some of those 33,000 emails she deleted . Well, george, obviously this is a concerning situation. Its a concern that an aggressive regime like Vladimir Putins could be trying to not just infiltrate the email system of the Democratic Party but actually influence the outcome of the election. I think its also very troubling that we heard donald trump not just praise Vladimir Putin, but at their convention they removed aid for the ukraine, from their platform and we heard donald trump talk about how he would not necessarily defend our Eastern European nato allies from russian aggression. How about last night and talk about the convention. You saw Michelle Obama certainly unify the crowd there but over the course of the night and day we still saw so much anger among Bernie Sanders and his supporters. Are you concerned youll see more today . Well, george, it was a boisterous evening. I will definitely say that. But the contrast between our convention and the republicans could not be greater. You saw Bernie Sanders who had endorsed weeks before come out on the floor, give a rousing endorsement of secretary clinton again when ted cruz spoke at prime time at the Republican Convention, he didnt even endorse donald trump. The governor of ohio didnt even show up. Supporters of senator sanders spoke frequently throughout the evening. They endorsed secretary clinton, as well. The platform passed by acclimation, so the business of the party got done by acclimation and were looking forward to the roll call vote this evening. You saw Sarah Silverman tell bernie or bust crowd theyre being ridiculous. Is she right . Well, i think what senator sanders talked about is the choice in this election is now before us and that is a choice between Hillary Clinton and donald trump. Hillary wants to earn the vote of everyone. She and shes working hard to earn everyones vote and we are working hard to unify this party. You saw that unification in action last night and we look forward to building on that this evening. You know, you talk about the choice between Hillary Clinton and donald trump. How concerned are you by the fact that in the polls coming out after the Republican Convention, Hillary Clintons unfavorables are now actually higher than Donald Trumps . Well, george, part of what were doing this evening is at the convention is helping voters get a bigger, broader picture of all of Hillary Clintons career. This is someone who has fought for decades on behalf of kids and families. Thats going to be her mission moving forward as president and a lot of voters just arent familiar with her accomplishments, with her work out of law school to make sure that disabled kids got access to public education. How she worked for to provide universal health care for all americans and when she lost that fight she kept at it in a Republican Congress got the Childrens Health Insurance Program passed, her historic work to reduce Nuclear Stockpiles as secretary of state, the list goes on and on and what were going to spend time on tonight and president clinton is going to talk about tonight is her lifelong motivation and commitment to those fights and to making a real difference in peoples lives. Robby mook, thanks for joining us this morning. Robin. All right, george. Now to the republicans, donald trump on the attack trying to make the most of turmoil here at the convention. And addressing that speculation about Russian Hackers. Abcs tom llamas is on the campaign trail with trump in charlotte, North Carolina. Good morning, tom. Reporter robin, good morning to you. Donald trump calling those claims from the Clinton Campaign conspiracy theories and going after many of the speakers last night at the Democratic Convention except for one. What a mess they have going. Reporter overnight, donald trump seizing on the fallout from the hacking of the dnc and the ousting of former party chair Debbie Wasserman schultz. Ive watched her for years and what she was is Hillary Clintons flunkie. She was rigging the system for hillary. As soon as theres heat put on hillarys person, hillary says, youre fired. Reporter the Clinton Campaign trying to tie trump to the hack possibly by russian agents. Democrats point to trumps affinity for russian leader Vladimir Putin. I never met putin in all fairness but that putin likes trump and, therefore, he went in and he stole it and he wants trump to win, okay, now, i have to say this, number one, it was one of the weirdest conspiracy reporter but the republican nominee signaling he would be a friend to russia. Wouldnt it be nice if russia and us and a couple of others went out and knocked the hell out of isis . Reporter trump also calling out democratic president ial candidate senator Bernie Sanders for endorsing clinton. The sad thing is that if he didnt give up he really would have left a legacy. Reporter trump live tweeting the Democratic National convention, posting Bernie Sanders totally sold out to crooked Hillary Clinton. All of that work, energy and money and nothing to show for it. And trump already looking past the Democratic Convention. I would kill her in the debate, oh, by the way, am i looking forward to that debate. Oh. Reporter and last night, donald trump pretty much going after every speaker in prime time at the Democratic Convention with the exception of one, first Lady Michelle obama. Robin. That was noted. All right, tom, thank you very much. As george was just saying new polls show donald trump getting a boost after the Republican Convention last week. Abcs jon karl joins us now to break them down and the race tighter than ever, right, jon. Reporter absolutely, robin. Its hard to measure a convention bounce at this point but it seems trump has clear momentum, especially on favorability and trust on voters. In fact, nate silver, our partners at five 30tyeight put a chance of a Trump Victory at nearly 54 if the election was held there today and get there by looking at the state polls. Lets take a look at our map, the red states are the states that republicans won in 2012, blue, democrats. Right now they have trump ahead in nevada, iowa, ohio, pennsylvania and florida and as you can see at the top, that gets them well beyond the 270 electoral votes he would need to win but ive got to caution, robin, this is a very fluid race and even in these states, the polling is all over the place. A lot of time between now and november. All right, thank you so much, jon. Okay, robin, we move on to Massive Wildfires in the west. Firefighters trying to battle the blaze and abcs Kayna Whitworth is on the scene in Santa Clarita with the late of the. Good morning, kayna. Reporter good morning. Were at the sand fire, the biggest in california. More than 33,000iccers, 10 contained leaving behinds scenes like this. 20 homes have been destroyed and that includes the homes of firefighters themselves. This blaze has been explosive burning up to 10,000 acres a day but it is now pushing east into the Angeles National forest and away from Populated Areas so because of that some people who were evacuated were allowed back in their homes last night. Of course, george, that is if they have anything to return to. Boy, it is just devastating. Okay, kayna, thanks very much. Now back to new york and amy has the other top stories. Good morning, we begin with the bombing outside the United Nations offices in somalia. 13 killed including seven u. N. Guards. A suicide bomber struck a Somali Security checkpoint. Al shabaab has claimed responsibility. 19 people have died after a former employee went on a stabbing rampage at a home for the mentally disabled near tokyo. This is the worst mass killing in japan since world war ii. Police say the man was angry over being fired and wrote to japanese lawmakers warning them of his attack plan but they did nothing. Back here in this country Dallas Police are seeing a surge of people applying for Law Enforcement jobs since the ambush that killed five officers this month. Just days after the attack, police chief david brown urged protesters to serve the community and join the force and that they did. Since then applications have soared by 344 . In florida, a mother and her young daughter survived an incredibly close call. Take a look as they crashed into a fence, a metal pole impaled their minivan piercing the windshield and front seat coming within just about an inch from where 4yearold khloe was sitting in the back in her car seat. She suffered just a scratch to her forehead and told police i didnt cry and i was brave. She certainly was, george and robin. I didnt cry. Thank you, amy. This is on the platt right here as youre heading westbound towards the airport much watch for the right lane being blocked with an accident. We have extra heavy volume anyway on the platt. You can kind of see up ahead and thats because of the Police Checkpoints. Lets talk about that right now. So heres the checkpoint on the entrance for the platt and the schuylkill on that exit there and you can see were jammed on i95 northbound ahead of that from 420 to the platt bridge only traveling 10 miles an hour. I95 southbound same situation ahead of that Police Checkpoint here on i95 southbound near the vine, youre already jammed past could the plan to the vine traveling 18, 9 miles an hour because if youre traveling in a vehicle thats over 5 tons you cant ride on i95 between those two checkpoints there because of the dnc so creating big problems. Another issue here on the boulevard northbound at bustleton avenue we have an accident here matt involving an overturned vehicle. Stick to i95 northbound instead. Thanks karen. Pope francis condemning the attacks saying his thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by the violence. One more terror attack. Also right now, it is bill clintons night here in philly. We see him last night giving Bernie Sanders a standing ovation. One of the Big Questions tonight is how are sanders supporters going to treat the former president when he takes the stage to speak about his wife hillary. Well get into that in our big board. Also thousands of firefighters battling massive fires in the west. 10,000 homes evacuated in california and millions are on alert for even hotter temperatures. And this morning, gas prices in some states dropping below 2 a gallon. How low will it go and how long will it last . All of that is coming up thats on the big board. First that dramatic survival story. A teen struck by lightning while playing pokemon go on the beach unconscious for days but hes revived now and speaking out about that scary incident. Lets go back up to amy in new york for that. This is an incredible story, george, pokemon go, we know, did sweeping the nation, so many people intent on finding those pokeballs, some of them though forgetting to look up from their phones and, yes, one North Carolina teenager found out the extremely hard way why it is so important to Pay Attention to your surroundings. Its the game that has everyone running, diving and jumping all to catch that elusive pokemon but the hunt for the pokemon nearly killed this North Carolina teen. Just really dark and i was on my phone and then everything kind of just went plaque. Reporter cameron was engrossed in a game with a friend on vacation on this tampa beach when suddenly i tried to figure out if i was hurting and my whole body was pretty much numb. Reporter lightning struck, his heart stopped. I had been hit by lightning in the back. Reporter three beachgoers immediately came to his aid. Ems crews worked on cameron for half an hour. I cant believe that hes able to walk and talk. It was the level of excellent cpr that they got that he got that has made the difference. Reporter after a week in the icu cameron says he is grateful to be alive. And we are so happy he is okay. You know, there is a message that pops up when you begin pokemon go that says, be alert at all times and be aware of your surroundings, this, of course, is a dramatic reminder that we all need to do that, robin. That is certainly right, amy. Thank you. Now to the widespread reaction to the senseless killings of africanamericans and Police Officers, basketball legend Michael Jordan announcing hes donating 1 million to the naacps Legal Defense fund and institute for Community Police relations. This comes as seven mothers who lost their children to violence prepare for a very important appearance here at the Democratic Convention tonight. I had a chance to sit down with them yesterday. My life changed dramatically on february 26th, 2012. Reporter mothers, each with their own stories of unspeakable loss. Sybrina fulton, the mother of Trayvon Martin and the mother of jordan davis, the young man shot and killed in jacksonville, florida, for playing loud music in his car. My name is lezley mcspadden. My son is michael brown. He was killed on august 9th in ferguson. I am cleopatra, mother of the late Hadiya Pendleton murdered january 29th, 2013 shot in the back. Im ria hamilton, my son what dontre hamilton. He had 21 bullet holes in his body. I did not get any justice. Im geneva reedveal, mother of sandra bland. She ended up dead in a jail cell. Im gwen carr, mother of eric garner murdered two years ago last week in Staten Island by a Police Officer who put him in a choke hold. I cant breathe. Youve heard that from demonstrators across the country using that as their battle cry. Moms now standing united with the one person they believe can make a change. From your perspective, mrs. Clinton, what can we do . Mothers of the movement joining forces to support Hillary Clintons campaign. Seen here in this exclusive first look airing tonight at the convention. Well, i think you can continue to speak out but you will be more effective if you do somehow band together. I was taught you want to cause a reaction thats going to lead to action. Absolutely. And what is it that you want this message to be . We must bring awareness, we must tell the people that dont wait till tragedy knock on your door. Thats right. Start doing something now in the communities. Thats right. To help your neighborhood, help your communities. Our leaders need to be accountable. You believe secretary clinton is going to be able to do that as president. With the reform bill that she has in place, it implements it but were going to hold her accountable. Thats right. For her actions. Thats right. With these bills and law. Shes the first president ial candidate that im aware of that has just said, this is a national crisis. It has to be dealt with. Our communities and our families will never be safe unless we deal with gun violence in this country. Were going to have much more of the conversation with them in our last half hour and what they are talking about is coming together and saying that they cant help you know, theyve all they want is their children back and thats not going to happen so they want to see what they can do to make sure it doesnt happen to other families and also discussed, you know, people believe, george, you have to be on one side or the other. They address police are being targeted and clearly address that. And what theyre seeing in their own communities and also saying, i told them ive been listening a lot to man in the mirror, Michael Jordan Michael Jordan, Michael Jacksons song about how when change starts with you and they were talking about accountability on all fronts with everyone involved. That should be so powerful to see them all up on that stage. It will be powerful. Theyll be up on that stage tonight and this is not something that they want to do. They havent been together like this. They have on the campaign trail and they said, george, when they start sharing their stories that theyll hear cries from the audience and its other mothers who are feeling finally theyre not alone and each of these mothers are doing work in their respective communities, yes, its a National Stage tonight. But they want to make i clear they are trying to help in their own communities so well talk about that. Catalyze some real action. Thats what the hope is. Coming up on our big board gas price, will they dip below 2 nationwide . Well have more on that. Now drone deliveries. Check this out, 7eleven now delivering slurpees from the air, will it make its way to you and as we said its going to be bill clintons night here at the Democratic Convention. With 9 grams of protein and 26 vitamins and minerals. For the strength and energy to get back to doing. What you love. Ensure. Always be you. And its time now for our big board. Our team of insiders standing by for more on todays top stories. Matt dowd right here with us and lets talk about the first story right now, bill clinton tonight here at the Democratic Convention. Hes got kind of a mixed record at conventions. Debuted in 19 8, bombed. Many of course, did well in 1992 and last year, four years ago for president obama, really effective speech but tonight its very tricky for him trying to get there on behalf of his wife without overshadowing her. Hes on an historic streak. His tenth convention in a row hes speaking at. Longer than anybody has. He is the cal ripken of Political Convention in the course of this. I think he would be smart to break the ice on this and say ive put Hillary Clinton i put my wife through a lot. Shes gone through a lot. Shes fought through a lot and i put her through a lot and heres who she is. I think that would be a good move. I dont know if hell do it but it would be a great move. Thinking back to 88 and 92, the crowd that he faced then and the crowd hes going to face tonight, the Democratic Party is different. How will he get his message across. Different and the environment is different. That was a time when the republicans won three straight terps and the democrats really wanted to win and went to somebody that was a more moderate democrat from the dlc, democratic leadership council. Thats not this Democratic Party today and thats not the country today. Its a much more progressive party. Its a party that doesnt really like the compromises of conservatives and liberal they want a much more Progressive Agenda and it will be interesting to see how he is received here. He is still well liked but yeah, but how he will handle possible protests. We seen him at states of the union ad lib go off and engage the protesters. Will he do that tonight . He is aggressively handled protesters over the past year or so. Thats not going to be a good thing at this because you dont want the former president to get booed but one things the democrat have that the republicans dont is a former president speaking at their convention. Well see what happens tonight. Also, you know, gas prices, theyre on the way down. Did you hear about this. Yes. We want to talk to dave ramsey about that. Aaa just came out, the new National Average is down to 2. 15 nationwide. Why is this happening an how low will it go . Whoohoo. Isnt it wonderful . I love it when i fill up my car it doesnt cost so much. Its happening because opec is opening the spigot. Oil is a supply demand price thing so they flooded the market with extra oil and its driven the prices down. How long they will continue to do that, who knows but, boy, were going to enjoy it while we can and, hey, its under 2 in some places. Its awesome. You talk about enjoying it, dave but a lot of people go out and spend it. How do they save it . Well, you dont want to spend it, obviously. Its a chance for you to do some good things with your money and that always starts with the b word, the dreaded budget where you give every dollar a name and make those extra dollars that you have behave. We have a free online budget tool called every dollar. You can get it at everydollar. Com and it lays out a full plan for you and you give every one of those dollars a name. A couple things you can do with them, with you, get out of debt. That would be awesome because if you didnt have payments youd have more money to give and be generous with and more to build wealth with. We teach a thing called the debt snowball and helped 10 Million People get out of debt using that. Thats where you list your debt, smallest to largest and pay them off in that order very aggressively and grandmas rainy day fund, common sense, we need an emergency fund. Why . Because sometimes theres an emergency. Sometimes folks say, dave, you should be positive. Well, im positive sometimes its going to rain and you need a rainy day fund. You know, this is like the good old days with you, dave. I remember you on gma giving us this good, solid advice like that about grandma and what to do with your money. Always good to see you, dave ram. I good to have you back. Delivery by drone. Looks like it could become close to reality. 7eleven releasing a new video of an order arriving to a customers home in reno, nevada, got a chicken sandwich, hot coffee and, of course, a slurpee and becky worley is here with more. Is it getting real. I am so ready for slurpees delivered by drone but alas, its not here yet. This test is a sign that its closer. The experiment here, the package traveled less than a mile, total air time including the winching down of the package to the familys home less than five minutes and that winch i should mention is an innovationinnovat landing in your yard. A cable lowers the package. The Drone Company telling me its safer than what we saw from amazons demonstration of drone delivery, and, yes, the coffee still hot and the slurpee still frozen. How did you know we were going to ask that . Thats the one thing other than what flavor, i prefer cherry. You mentioned amazon so where are they in all this . Just last night amazon telling me theyve reached a deal in the uk where theyll be allowed to test three new ways, beyond where the operator can see the drone called line of sight, theyll also test Collision Avoidance owe think google selfdriving car but for drones and test flights where one person operates multiple drones but get this, the Drone Company working with 7eleven pointed out samson has about 100 Distribution Centers here in the u. S. Well, 7eleven has 10,000. Theyre called 7eleven stores. And they also sell overthecounter medicine so imagine your baby is sick, youre desperate for pain reliever. The family that ordered all the drone delivery items, they have three kids under the age of 7. What dont they need immediately . I mean, what would you guys order going on week two of the convention coverage, matt dowd, you have to be desperate for something. I want a pizza. Or a blizzard from dairy queen. Here are one of the Police Checkpoints. You can see them blocking the left lane and shoulder and also restricting traffic as you go he from i95 northbound to the exit for the platt bridge and the schuylkill. The reason theyre doing that theyre not allowing heavy vehicles more than 5 tons to continue on i95 northbound through philadelphia so we are jammed on i95 northbound from 420 to that checkpoint there. Youre traveling only 9 miles an hour so it is a real jam. Yesterday it backed up down to the blue route. Were looking at i95. The delays not as bad as yesterday eight still only about 23 miles an hour, 11 miles an hour on i95 southbound from past cottman to that checkpoint near the vine. Its taking a look at a couple other problems. A downed tree on rancocas road and malfunctioning traffic lights on borton landing road matt. It will still be important to take some of those heat precautions but it not be as operative. Humidity drops. Tomorrow sunny hot not that humid 93. Thursday is when we turn it around and the humidity builds back in. Another high of 93 and a chance of an afternoon or evening thunderstorm. Some of that action could spill into friday morning. Otherwise warm and humid on friday and finally were back in the 80s. Matt. Thanks, david. Ginger still kind of muggy and warm this morning. Were dry with last nights storms out of the way. Taking a look outside and what else the Wells Fargo Center day two of the dnc today and its going to be hot but not nearly as humid. Right now we are in the 70s and your exclusive accuweather 7day shows another hot high of 95, cool drinks will still be important today but it will be less and less humid as the day goes on. Tomorrow sunny and hot, not all that sticky, 93 and then more humid with storms on thursday. Up, our harry potter exclusive. A new story just days away. We are uncovering the secrets and what isary your name. Brooke. Brooke is very excited about it. Stay with us on gma. Hey, im matt odonnell. Eight twenty seven on this tuesday july 26. Checking out i95 with karen rogers. Matt look at the traffic jam. This is i95 southbound near allegheny. You can see were pretty gamed at this point past Bridge Street to approaching the vine and thats where they have one of those Police Checkpoints. Theyre not allowing vehicles more than 5 tons to continue traveling southbound on i95 there. I have to say though look at the travel time. A 29 minute ride from woodhaven to the vine. Yesterday that delay was twice as long. So its not nearly as bad today as it was yesterday even though were talking speeds of 12 miles an hour. So heres one of the other checkpoints on i95 northbound as you exit off for the platt and schuylkill. You can see youre traveling about 10 miles an hour here. I95 northbound jammed from 420 to that checkpoint there so thats creating a pretty good sized delay there as well. Watch out for those delays but not as bad as yesterday. Downed tree causing a problem. Youll find a couple countries, downed wires. This is is on riders ferry road in lower merion. Traffic is getting by slowly matt. Turning down the burners just a little bit in the accuweather forecast. Heres dave murphy. Matt we are still on the warm side this morning, suns up a little bit humid. Take a look at the temperatures. 77 degrees right now but as we go through the day the humidity is going to drop. Accuweather says a high of 95 this afternoon. Still hot, still a day for cool drinks and some of those heat precautions but it will be far less oppressive than yesterday especially later in the afternoon as the humidity comes down. Tomorrow sunny and hot 93. Thursday we kind of turn things around. The breeze starts to come up from the humid southwest again getting us stickier in the afternoon a front could trigger strong thunderstorms. Again that is thursday matt. At the dnc in philadelphia more Bernie Sanders protests, former president clinton speaks and the Convention Holds a roll call for the democratic nominee for president. Its a Pretty Simple question is pat toomeys agenda your agenda . Toomey voted seven times to defund planned parenthood. He even tried to shut down the federal government in order to eliminate funding for planned parenthood. And toomeys against a womans right to choose and supports overturning roe v. We are live in philadelphia for day two of the Democratic Convention. It is bill clintons night tonight. He will take the stage to make the case for his wife hillary and, robin, america is going to meet the moms you spoke with yesterday. All seven of them will take the stage tonight, the mothers of the move many. We introduced you to them earlier this morning. Theyre speaking about tonights theme, a lifetime of fighting for children and families and pushing for justice for Police Reform and gun violence prevention in their communities and around the country after the deaths of their children. We might be the seven that are sitting here but its so much bigger than us. Reporter seven mothers with a powerful battle cry to End Gun Violence and Excessive Police force. Including sybrina fulton, mother of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed florida teen shot and killed by a neighborhood watchman in 2012. Theres something that has been placed inside us that says, listen. You cant help your son or daughters but you certainly can help other children. Reporter cleopatras daughter hadiya dying as a result of gun violence in her Chicago Community is it we have to bring back community. We say we want these young people to focus on Something Different or, you know, not be violent but an idle mind is a dangerous mind so if they have no Community Centers or programs that can reach them theres no employment, youre going to fall into the negativity. Miss gwen, we saw the video of your son and heard those 11 times saying i cant breathe and i know you were tired from that. Is it important to say this is my lifes mission at this point. I never thought that i would be in this position. I was thrown into it, i never wanted this. I would rather have my son today that i could talk to him on the phone or visit him. Yes. We must bring awareness and tell the people dont wait till tragedy knock on your door. And your daughter was jailed for a traffic stop. Yes, yes, and i think that what we have to address here, it wasnt that she was jailed for a traffic stop. She was jailed because she was profiled. Her daughter, sandra bland later found dead at her jail cell. We know there is nobody in the world of my family who believes that sandy killed herself. It hurts and then you feel like you have to get up and fight. And so they are. These women and other mothers who have lost children invited to voice their concerns privately with Hillary Clinton. This is not only wrong, it is unacceptab unacceptable. What did you say to her. We talked about the injustices that we continue to see happen within our communities again and again and again. She endorsed all of us. She contacts us. She still calls us. We still get letters when were not traveling with her. When you had the two killings of black men, and then the killing of Police Officers, it was like one day, second day, third day. Right. How do you all handle this unrest . Well, let me that we see. Let me take that one and i couldnt watch the tv. I couldnt watch any of it because it was too much for me. You know that Police Officers families have also lost lives. Yes. What is your feeling when you see how Police Officers feel that they have been targeted recently. What they feel is what weve been talking about. Those are the issues that people have been living every day. Yes. Now the conversation is a little louder because the police have become victims. Right, im not saying the assaults on Law Enforcement are right at all. No. You know, killing someone with a gun is just it never a life should be taken. Thats right. And so what you see happening to the police now why theyre being targeted is because of all the root of the systemic racism and the poverty and the way theres no relationship between the communities and the police and Law Enforcement, that is the root and so what you see now is that, you know, theres a bursting of the seams here. This is a bad time to be a good cop in this country. Yes, it is. We need to remember they have lives too. Lets stop asking the officer to do all of these things and then were not willing to do what we need to do. We need to do selfcheck. You cant say they are the bad guy but ill bet you what, break into my home, im calling mr. Officer. Oh, yes, i am. Absolutely and we have to remember that. We dont hate Police Officers. Not at all. Absolutely we dont hate Police Officers. A lot of people get call up on the uniform but under that uniform is somebody that belongs to somebody who really loves them. Im glad that you said that because its so true because i look at you as veries even though youre a group and see you as individual, same thing with Police Officers. What is it that you want and theres just no room for negotiation, has to change in your opinion . Our leaders need to be accountable. Legislation, keeping guns out of the hands of people who should not have guns. You know, its interesting, the day i realized we really did have quite a big difference was the day my diet book came out she wrote a blog about how much she hates diet books so i thought, okay, we have this difference but what ive come 20 realize we really are much more similar. I have seen so much of her journey up close and personal and vice versa and so happy to see her in a good place and inspired. Pia, you love maras diet book, dont you. This is the thing, her book was so open and honest about where she came from and that was what was really important. Yes, i struggled with my weight my entire life. I know ill never be a size 2 or a 4 but im on my way to selfacceptance. When did that come to you. I found that i didnt start accepting and loving myself more when i started losing weight, i started losing weight when i started loving and accepting myself more. Because when i took the food out, i had to replace it with something and what i replaced it with that was effective was selfcare. Resting when youre tired. Drinking when youre thirsty, giving yourself nourishing food and really loving yourself. That for me was the key. Were walking over to the yoga mats. But, brittany, youre struggling with your weight but worried about your healthy food choices. Being a thin woman is a misconception that we dont have to eat healthy or exercise and its a Health Concern so i just mara, how do you feel about eating right.
