Brandnew poll, both donald trump and ben carson joins us live. We begin with that security lockdown in europes capital, subways and stores closed, events canceled, americans warned to stay indoors. Our chief Global Affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz is on the scene with the latest. Good morning, martha. Reporter the lockdown is visible everywhere you go here in brussels, the imminent threat on everyones mind and belgian Officials Say the lockdown may continue through monday, since they say, terrorists are looking at places here where they could inflict maz casualties. Its unsettling here in brussels this morning, a usually bustling european capital, paralyzed. The u. S. Embassy ordering americans here to shelter in place. A parisstyle attack is what theyre expecting, the threat deemed serious and imminent. But on the second day of the high alert, tourists were milling around. Armored vehicle. Its not normal. Reporter local police were offering assurances. We need to have support from the army, so everything is secure here in brussels. Reporter in neighboring france, officials are still looking for clues after the suspected planner of the paris attacks, Abdelhamid Abaaoud was killed in a shootout on wednesday. And the eighth paris terrorist, salah, Authorities Say he drove to belgium. The lawyer for his companions telling abc news, he looked angry and was possibly wearing a suicide belt. Meanwhile, the survivors in paris still haunted, the lead singer of the American Band performing at the bataclan talked to vice news. A great reason why so many were killed because so many people wouldnt leave their friends. Reporter the spector of the jihadist threat is also rising in mali where al qaeda is claiming credit for that deadly hotel siege. An american survivor telling his story to alex marquardt. They never looked, they were shooting, the shells were hitting me. They never looked. Reporter from africa, to europe, to the front line in the front against isis, this week we were in iraq, where isis holds huge swaths of territory, but the kurds have had some success in pushing isis back. With help from american advisers, but the threat is still enormous. The kurdish fighters have taken up positions all around kirkuk, this soldier has his eyes on isis. In asia, president obama insisting that destroying isis is a realistic goal. The real tool we have to fight isis, is to say that were not afraid. So, martha, you have spent this week on both fronts, which is at least a twofront war. Reporter it really is, george, when you go into iraq and you can see the continuing air strikes and we were in the command center where theyre conducting those air strikes under pretty strict rules of engagement. But here in brussels, the transition wasnt that difficult, because you have soldiers all over the street, you have armored personnel carriers as we saw. Also here, were in a small square, just across from me is the home of where the missing terrorist used to live and here, i talked to some people on the streets today, including a 15yearold girl, i asked her what its like to live in this neighborhood, he said yes, we do have some terrorists in the neighborhood but were all not all terrorists, were frightened ourselves of whats happening. Well turn now to the political fallout from these terrorist attacks. Hillary clinton holds a commanding lead on the democratic side but Bernie Sanders has gained nine points since joe biden said hes not running and donald trump leads over ben careson. Followed by cruz and jeb bush. Donald trump joins us live after this report from jon karl. Reporter the president was half a world away in asia, but it seemed like he was on the campaign trail, repeatedly slamming republican who want to keep syrian refugee s out of america. Back in washington, his own party was defying him. Nearly four dozen House Democrats joining republicans voting to stop Syrian Refugees until the government can certify they pose no threat. Governors have vowed to keep Syrian Refugees out of their states. The president said the refugees are thoroughly vetted. With two of the paris terrorists now suspected of sneaking into france as refugees, one using this doctored passport, Security Fears have saturday. Our new poll shows a majority now opposed to taking in jeff gees. The threat says terrorism is second to economy. 54 disapprove of the president s handling of terrorism altogether. On the campaign trail, ben carson came under fire. If theres a rabid dog running around your neighborhood, you probably not going to assume something good about that dog and youre probably going to put your children out of the way. It doesnt mean you hate all dogs. Reporter donald trump spoke a fur your when reporter asked him if he would support a database to track muslims in the United States . There should be a lot of systems beyond databases. We should have a lot of systems and today you can do it. How do you get them to register. Just good management. Reporter trump said the database he wants is skrus for Syrian Refugees. I want database for those people coming in, i want surveillance if we have to, i want surveillance of certain mosques, okay. Jon karl joins us now. More results of that poll, which has been remarkedly steady. Through major controversies and national debates. Look at the numbers since september, marco rubio has gone up ever so slightly, bush down. But for donald trump and ben carson, the numbers are virtually unchanged and consider this, it was our poll in july that first put donald trump as the frontrunner and no matter what he has said, he has not budged from the frontrunner since then. You showed that tough numbers for president obama on terrorism, these terror attacks starting to transforthis race. If you look at those numbers, george, the lowest approval for the handling of terrorism for president obama. On the republican side, look who the republicans trust to handle terrorism, donald trump. Lets bring in mr. Trump right now. He joins us on the phone. You just heard those numbers, mr. Trump. Is the nomination now yours to lose . I dont know. I dont think about that. I think about february 1st, iowa and then we have new hampshire. I think im leading in every state. But were doing really well. I was happy to hear your numbers. People are tired, theyre sick and tired of incompetence and stupid people leading them. Whether its trade or dealing with isis. Everything is wrong. I was after the oil. I said attack the oil, i have been telling you that for two years, attack the oil. Isis became wealthy with the oil. Now theyre starting to attack the oil. You stirred up those comments with the database, are you ruling out a database on all muslims . No, not at all. I want a database for the refugees that if they come into the country, we have no idea who these people are, when the Syrian Refugees start pouring into this country, we dont know if its isis, i definitely want a database and other checks and balances. We have no idea whos being sent in here. It could be the great trojan horse of all time. When they come in. When i look at the migration and the lines and i see all strong, very powerful looking men, theyre men, very few women and children, theres something strange going on. In europe, lot of bad things are happening in europe. Just ask the folks that live in germany. But statistics do show george, we want to be individual lant. We have to be vigilant and we have to call radical islamic terror. We have a president that wont issue the term. When the syrians come in, if theyre going to come in, we have to be very, very vigilant and a database would be fine for them and a watch list is fine. We have to watch and see. Just for the record, though, the statistics do show majority of the refugees are women and children. You also told yahoo news, we have to do things that are unthinkable a year ago. Do you think we should bring back enhanced interrogation like waterboarding . We have to be strong. They dont use waterboarding. They used chopping. We have i would bring it back, yes, i would bring it back. I think waterboarding is peanuts to what theyre doing us. What they did to james foley, thats a whole different level. I would absolutely bring back interrogation and strong interrogation. You said we have to consider closing mosques. Jeb bush called that a sign of weakness. Jeb bush is a weak person, that has been defined very strongly. Jeb bush is a weak person. I call him a lowenergy person. Jeb is a person that will not a solve problem you have very, very tough people that youre dealing with, they only understand strength, they dont understand weakness. Somebody like jeb and others that are running against me and by the way, Hillary Clinton is another one, hillary is a person who doesnt have the strength or the stamina in my opinion to be president. She doesnt have strength or stamina, shes not a Strong Enough person to be president. Were dealing with very, very strong people and you need strength and you need stamina. Hillary does not have that. What would be your criteria to closing mosque. Are what are your criteria . I dont want to close mosques. I want to surveil mosques. All mosques . Well, i do there are certain hot spots, let me tell you, the people arent involved in those mosques, they know who the bad ones are and the good ones, but they dont talk and we have to surveil the mosques. We were doing it until de blasio closed them up in new york city. We have to surveil the mosques. We were learning a lot and they were stopping problems and potential problems by learning what was happening. Hey, look, i dont want to close up mosques but things have ppen where you have to do you want to keep terror watch list. Under current law, individuals under the watch list have been allowed to guns and explosives, are you okay with that . We have to have a watch list and if that watch list has somebody, you know, we have the laws right now, we have the laws on the book, Second Amendment of guns. Im a big proponent of the Second Amendment. If in paris some of those people, if you had some of those people had guns you wouldnt have had the horror show that you had people are on a watch list, people are sick, you have already this is already covered in the legislation that we already have, george under current law, people on the watch list are allowed to buy guns. Listen, george, if we have an enemy of state, i dont want to give him anything, i want to have him in jail. If those people in paris had guns in that room it would have been a shootout and very few people would have been hurt by comparison to the people were hurt. Yes or no, should someone on the terror watch list be allowed to buy a gun . If someone is on a watch list and anymy of state, i would keep him away, absolutely. You raised some eyebrows with comments you made at your latest rally in relation to 9 11. Hey, i watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down and i watched in jersey city, new jersey, where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down, thousands of people were cheering. You know, the police say that didnt happen at all. Those rumors have been on the internet some time. I saw it. You saw it with your own eyes . There were people who were cheering on the other side of jersey, where you have large arab population, they were cheering when the World Trade Center came down. There were people cheering as those buildings kim down. It was well covered at the time, george. I know they dont like to talk about it. There were people over in new jersey watching it. Sh heavy arab population. The police say they didnt happen. A superpac supporting john kasich launched this attack ad against you. Benghazi, beheadings, paris. Our lives depend on a commander in chief with experience who understands the world. Implication that you dont, what is your response to that ad . John kasich is going nowhere, he was at the head of leeman, one of the top people atleeman, hes going nowhere. Anybody who does an ad against me will be hit ten times. Look, they want to do it because im leading. You just came out with the poll that says im leading. Because people are sick and tired of stupid and incompetent leading our nation. We have incompetent, when president obama stands up and says isis is contained and few hours later you have one of the most horrible attacks, and you have 300 people laying in the hospital, many of them dying, we have no idea, he wants to take in people who have no documentation, no paperwork, no anything, from syria on the migration, people are going to come pouring in, the number he wants is much higher than 10,000. I heard its 200,000. We have a president that doesnt know what hes doing. We have a president , george, whos totally incompetent. That number is our refugees, that superpac is not alone. Frontpage story in the wall street journal talks about gop operatives promising to launch a gur ril la campaign against trump. Theyre going to have the first attempt to unite donors from rival camps into a single force. If that happens, are you going to reconsider . Well see what happens. It will be very interesting. But im leading every poll a lot. I resonate with the people. I had 10,000 people yesterday, every place i go, crowds smaller than 10,000 its like a small crowd for me. Nobody else can get 200. Kasich u if he speaks, if he gets 20 people in a room its a lot of room. I get crowds of 6,000, 10,000, 20,000, i had a 35,000crowd in alabama. Well, im going to have to see what happens. Ill see what happens. I have to be treated fairly. I have to be treated fairly. If im treated fairly im fine. I want a level playing field. I think people are surprised that, you know, their politicians and they have been doing this stuff all their lives. I have been a job producer, i have done fabulous developments all over the world. I have made a lot of money. Thats the kind of thinking we need in washington. Thats why people are resonating with me. They know theres a great level of competence. We have a great level of incompetence in washington. Frankly, a lot of incompetent politicians running for office. How can an outsider be doing so well within the party. When i was a contributor, i know more about contributions than anybody. I contributed at the top of the line. All of a sudden, im somebody theyre a little bit, i guess, they cant understand whats happening. Whats happening is very simple. People want competence now. Mr. Trump, thanks for your time this morning. Thank you very much. Up next, oben carson. Plus in depth analysis from Martha Raddatz on how isis has become americas number one enemy. Thats the scene in bruls else is this morning, europes capital on lockdown after an imminent threat from isis. Well continue the debate on how to respond to that isis with ben carson. Dr. Carson, thank you for joining us this morning. Glad youre with us right now. I want to get your response on some of the things we talked about with donald trump about how to respond to isis. Number one, he said we should ring back those enhanced interrogation techniques which president obama discontinued like waterboarding, do you agree . I agree that theres no such thing as Political Correctness when youre fighting an enemy who wants to destroy you and im not one whos real big on telling the enemy on what were going to do. But you would do that even though many consider waterboarding torture . Like i said, im not real big on telling what we do. You have said we should monitor any churches or mosques where theres a lot of radicalizations or things that are antiamerica, how would you determine that . Well, i said in a large capacity, we should monitor anything, mosques, church, school, you know, shopping center, where theres a lot of radicalization going on. But how would you know that . Intelligence, we have intelligence on the ground already, we do need to enhance that. For instance, we learned last week that the fbi seems to be able to monitor 30 to 60 people at a time. We know theres a lot more than that that need to be monitored. Remember what happened with the monitoring at the airports, so much of the stuff was able to get through, we have to really improve that very significantly. Were talking about the safety of the american people. So, you want to enhance the intelligence, how about this issue of the terror watch list as i told mr. Trump, under the current law, people on the terror watch list are permitted to buy guns, have been permitted to buy guns and explosives, would you continue that . As you sure know, there are a lot of people on that watch list and they have no idea of why theyre on that list, they have been trying to get their names off of it and no one will give them information. You know, im a big supporter of the Second Amendment and i dont want to deprive people unnecessarily of that. There needs to be better due process. Thats one thing im interested in, finding a way to make government more responsive to the people, its really unfair that people cant get a real hearing and they get put on a list and nobody can tell why theyre there. They have to be tormented. And on the broader strategy against isis, i spoke with president obama last week and had him to respond to your comments that you made at the debate, it would be fairly easy to take out the oil fields near anbar. What i think he doesnt know much about it. Look, george, i think its fair to say, over the last several years, i have had access to all of the best military minds in the country and Foreign Policy minds in the country, if im in the situation room talking with too people who have worked in these regions and have run major operations and they dont think its easy then its probably not easy. You think your advisers are better than president obamas . Well, you know what i do know is that we have people who are very dangerous and they want to destroy us and we dont really have the option of deciding whether its easy or not to take them out. We have to take them out. We have to do whats necessary. We need to make it very difficult for them to move money and get rid of their ability to deride money from oil. Whether we take the fields or blow them up. We need to take the land back. The land is just sitting there. They have all of the propaganda associated with that. You know, you see in northern iraq, we have been able to work extremely effectively with the kurds. Thats a fighting force that we need to cultivate and we have sort of giving up on the iraqi fighting force, because, you know, they fled when they were fired upon. The fact of the matter is, they didnt have the right kind of advisers and our special option people, if put the special option people there with them, we can fight with the forces and we need to consult our department of defense, we need to define for them the mission and we need to say to them, what do you need in order to accomplish that. Lot of focus on your Foreign Policy. The New York Times headlines said you were struggling with Foreign Policy. One of your Close Friends Armstrong Williams was quoted saying, dr. Carson is still on a learning curve, still much for him to learn. With National Security and terrorism such a top concern, why should they choose a commander in chief still on a learning curve . I hope everybodys on a learning curve. Things are always in the process of changing. And if you stay stagnant and you say, im on it, now ill go relax, youre not going to be very competent. And the same thing applies with being commander in chief, the world is rapidly changing place, all kinds of dynamics going on, yes, we should have in place protocols to deal with that 2 00 a. M. Call in the morning, but we also need to have the ability to think quickly and to be flexible. You know, i would be willing to say that i probably more 2 00 a. M. In the morning experience than anybody else combined making life and death decisions. You have to be able to do that. Who has the most experience . I dont know if its necessarily comes down to politics, it comes down to practical experience, solving difficult problems, doing things quickly and efficiently. Finally, dr. Carson, a new cbs poll out this morning shows ted cruz pulling ahead of you in iowa for the First Time Since may, are you worried that you may be losing steam there . Well, you know, its a marathon. Its not a sprint. So, theres going to be ups and downs as we go along the way. Thats why we have an elongated process rather than just a week or two. Dr. Carson, thanks for joining us. Coming up, our roundtable weighs in on the Syrian Refugees. Later, the powerhouse puzzler brought to you by voya financial. Enough pressure in here for ya . Ugh. My sinuses are killing me. Yeah. Just wait til we hit ten thousand feet. Im gonna take Mucinex Sinusmax. Too late, were about to take off. These dissolve fast. Theyre new liquid gels. And youre coming with me. Wait, what . you realize i have gold status . Do i still get the miles . New Mucinex Sinusmax liquid gels. Dissolves fast to unleash max strength medicine. Start the relief. Ditch the misery. Lets end this. The artificial heart, this ielectric guitarsdoers, and rockets to the moon. Its the story of america land of the doers. Doin it. Did it. Done. Doers built this country. The dams and the railroads. John henry was a steel drivin man hmm, catchy. They built the golden gates and the empire states. And all this doin takes energy no matter whos doin. Theres all kinds of doin up in here. Or what theyre doin. What the hecks he doin . Energy got us here. And its our job to make sure theres enough to keep doers doin the stuff doers do. To keep us all doin what we do. That gives you better taste and better nutrition in so many varieties. Classic. Cage free. And organic. Only egglands best. Better taste. Better nutrition. Optic white toothbrush plus whitening pen. Brush. Whiten. Go. Democratic Martin Omalley is next. Can he save his campaign by striking out at Hillary Clinton and our powerhouse roundtable. The great beauty of owning a property is that you can create wealth through capital appreciation, and this has been denied to many South Africans for generations. This is an opportunity to right that wrong. The idea was to bring capital into the Affordable Housing space in south africa, with a fund that offers families of modest income safe and good accommodation. Citi got involved very early on and showed an enormous commitment. And that gave other investors confidence. Citis really unique, because they bring deep understanding of whats happening in africa. I really believe we only live once, and so you need to take an idea that you have and go for it. You have the opportunity to say, ive been part of the creation of over 27,000 units of housing, and to replicate this across the entire african continent. Can a a subconscious. Mind . A knack for predicting the future. Reflexes faster than the speed of thought. Can a business have a spirit . Can a business have a soul . Can a business be. Alive . One of many pieces in my life. So when my asthma symptoms kept coming back on my longterm control medicine, i talked to my doctor and found a missing piece in my asthma treatment. Oncedaily breo prevents asthma symptoms. Breo is for adults with asthma not well controlled on a longterm asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Breo wont replace a rescue inhaler for sudden breathing problems. Breo opens up airways to help improve breathing for a full 24 hours. Breo contains a type of medicine that increases the risk of death from asthma problems and may increase the risk of hospitalization in children and adolescents. Breo is not for people whose asthma is well controlled on a longterm asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Once your asthma is well controlled, your doctor will decide if you can stop breo and prescribe a different asthma control medicine, like an inhaled corticosteroid. Do not take breo more than prescribed. See your doctor if your asthma does not improve or gets worse. Ask your doctor if 24hour breo could be a missing piece for you. See if youre eligible for 12 months free at mybreo. Com. Were back with former governor Martin Omalley running third behind Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. Governor omalley, thank you for joining us this morning. Even though your poll numbers are hard, youre striking hard at Hillary Clinton. Saying shes demonstrated a total inability to understand when dictators fall. Total inability . Well, yes, george, secretary clinton voted for the iraq war and notwithstanding what she regards now, a big mistake. None themselves, you find these circumstances. One instance as secretary of state, secretary clinton had an understanding of what was coming after the toppling of the de dictat dictator. I also said yesterday, that secretary clinton has one foot stuck in the cold war, look, this is a new era of warfare, fourth generation warfare and it requires a new sort of diplomacy that is not the old, cold war mentality. How would yours be different . Shes called with greater Cyber Efforts against isis. She doesnt want Ground Troops in the region. How would you be different . Again n the speech that she just gave, george, it was everything than the kitchen sink, pep ered with the same old thinking, Old State Department thinking when it comes to this. Look, we need a Foreign Policy not only talks about a greater human intelligence but actually delivers it. How long have we been at this war . Shes calling for the exact same thing. When she had the opportunity to do something about it, george, she did not. This new era requires new thinking, fresh approaches. This is very different than the conflict of the 1990s. This is asy symmetrical warfare. Beyond that and with these global terrorists its more akin tracking down drug organizations. So, be spaecific here. Name three things you would do. This new age requires Network Intelligence, its obvious from the fact of the attacks in france that we still have not gotten to the place where we have this sort of Network Intelligence that we need to defend ousts and an inmum system because not it outnumbers the bad germs but because its better coordinated. Its not the old way. Where we get memos and eight months later, we make a decision. This requires much more nimble thinking, a new age of rapid communications, intelligence sharing with neighbors in the past lot of security agencies thought ran contrary. When it comes to fighting isis on the battlefields of iraq and syria, we need to up the battle tempo and we need alliances that are openended and work through the u. N. Security council and its not a better of big divisions fighting off in the dessert. This a matter of special forces and working in coalition with many other nations. And other partners. And it also requires an openendedness to allow the russians to come in and help us where provided that shortterm political solution that directs that fire uponer. Washington post shows a poll, your campaign is perilously close to financial collapse. Are you safe through iowa . I am. This week after we had our second debt bait, we had the best week of fundraising that we have ever had. With High School Kids across iowa we garnered 24 of the caucus going vote. As you know from your own experience, people of iowa make their own mind. Theyre not intimidated by big money and socalled inevitable frontrunners. Were going to emerge as the democrat Democratic Alternative to the frontrunner Hillary Clinton. Governor omalley, thanks very much for your time this morning. Thank you, george. Roundtable is up next. Theyll weigh in on what we heard from the candidates and whats next for the president. Announcer catch this this week online all this week, on facebook and on twitter. Back now with the roundtable joined by abcs matthew dowd, david axelrod, and here on the other side, congressman keith ellison, first muslim elected to congress, and mare that mcsally. Thank you for joining us. We heard the candidates weigh in on steps theyre going to take in the fight against isis. You see the change in all the polls. The issue was dominated by economy and jobs. Now its dominated by terrorism and whats going on in the middle east. The question is, how long does it last . I think it lasts within the republican primary throughout the course of the republican primary. It changed the dynamics of the race. Lot of people thought it would hurt donald trump, because voters would turn. The exact opposite has been happening because people, gop voters for sure, want strength as the ultimate value. Strong and wrong is better than right and weak at this moment. And congresswoman mcsally, you see the numbers for president obama, lot of discontent for his strategy against terrorism. Absolutely. Hes had a failed strategy since hes been in office. Isis is just the new met tas sized of that. We havent seen a comprehensive strategy to attack where theyre are and show leadership in the global community. Look, im interested in us getting away from the race being less of a Reality Tv Show and wwftype tournament and more towards a serious discussion of who should be our next commander in chief, the next person who should be leading our military, our Foreign Policy, in the global sphere to fight against this fight. Thats the top question right up there with the economy. It is for now. Well see where we are in six, eight months. But, clearly, it has given a platform for donald trump and that republican party. Hes been able to project a unrestrained, people are responding to that. I have had this theory, People Choose the remedy to what they have. They never choose the replicate. No more antiobama kind of figure in terms of opposite than donald trump. That combined with more surveillance of mosques. It has. I think we should project strength. Confidence in who we are as a nation. Were civilization, we give safe haven to refugees. We dont be head them and all of these kind of bad things and exclude them. At this point in the game, we need to be adhering to the values that made this country strong and not feeding into the daesh narrative, exactly what these sort of panicking reactions say. Daesh says that islam is at war with the west and the west is at war with islam. This is false statement. We need to say, were not going to single out muslims for religious test to come into this country. Were going to have confidence in our Homeland Security department that has 750,000 people refugees admitted since 2001, and we are going to engage in diplomacy. What about this argument that the house message sends the wrong message to isis. For six months, we looked at combatting the flow of foreign fighters related to this isis threat. We delivered it to the administration in september. We have 32 findings addressing the broad threat from isis foreign fighter flow and home grown extremism. Isis has said they want to exploit. What we did this week was a bipartisan vetoproof vote. This is just one step. We got to address these other urgent threats as well. Matt, that question i posed to both donald trump and ben carson. You talked about gaps in global security, whoo i is okay for people on the terror watch list to buy guns. There have been some issues with it. Additionally, we have european allies, we share information on the watch list and eu travelers dont get checked against that list. These are some of the gaping holes. Wait a minute. The Republican Caucus is more frightened as a political matter of the nra than isis. On this kwek, they dont want to buck the nra. This is why you dont have the watch list. David, i disagree with you. I expected you would. The refugee crisis unfortunately is one of the issues that has dropped in, its like ice in dry ice in a bucket of water, sorry, i think this is that issue. If you find a center ground, were a compassionate nation, we also want protection, youre actually attacked on both sides. The problem i think democrats have when they dont understand where republicans are coming from on this issue is, a majority of the country doesnt want refugees into this country right now. Majority doesnt trust the president on this issue. And a majority think were at war with radical islam. Until you accept and understand those fears you cant get people roosevelt made it clear, the only thing to fear is fear itself. People are afraid, but the understand is not to pander to their fears its to offer leadership. We dont have leadership right now. Im the son of the refugee, im proud of the position that the president took. I i think matthew is right, before you attack the fear mongers you have to attack the fear. Listen, that press conference on monday he seemed a little listless going after them. And didnt stand up for as explicitly as he should have for the system of refugees. He was tonedeaf and detached in his comments after paris. The most we got him riled up is when hes attacking republicans. Theyre concerned about homegrown terrorists. Theyre concerned about foreign fighters. 30,000 of them have traveled from iraq and syria. Overreact to this not in line with american values. Republicans should have done the exact same things that democrats should have done. We dont need a religious test, block all the refugees. You can say pause like some said. The legislation simply makes our top tree Security Officials certified theyre not a nation gnat security threat. It wouldnt slow it down. These same officials testify that the databases are maybe missing information. It requires each official to identify and certify each person where we have a system that does that now, thats going to be very inefficient. I believe it can grind the program to a halt. I dont like the idea of telling daesh were going to disrupt our whole program just because of their threats. I think we should amend the program as needed. Make sure we deal with these visa waiver issues. It does seem like the far bigger problem that anyone can come in from europe without any checks. Thats part of it. We also have 250 americans that have traveled to iraq and syria and 900 investigations going on at home. These are the broader issues. It doesnt mean we should say no to Syrian Refugees.
