Now the decision was made to close a second lane on the Memorial Bridge. It as heavily traveled bridge and these closures could slow people down. Another inspection another problem and now another lane closure. Memorial bridge is now down a total of two lanes one in each direction, for the next six to nine months. I think its going to slow down traffic and longer my commute. Its already long so it will add more time to it. Reporter problems with the 83yearold bridge keep stacking up. The outbound curb lane was closed due to corrosion last week and now engineers have found issues with a secondary support beam prompting the closure of the right lane on the inbound side. If you come later it will be hell basically. I mean but i guess whatever they have to do. They have to get it fixed.
