Witnesses say he was sitting here near the pool drinking a beer and holding a handgun before he began shooting. Police inside of a helicopter first spotted the suspect while officers on the ground maid their way into the complex. The helicopter saw that the suspect was still in the pool area and w station in san diego that seles walked into the pool area where a group of friends were celebrating the 50th birthday of another tenant. When they invited him to join the party, he lifted up his shirt, took out the gun and started firing. He kept shooting until he was out of bullets.
