Also in Montgomery County, all schools are being retested for radon gas starting today, after tests showed almost 30 schools had high levels of the cancer causing gas. The School System says it wont stop testing units until all schools are in compliance with the epa standards. One home inspector says buildings need to be tested regular regularly. In a letter to teachers and parents, interim superintendent larry bowers is encouraging parents and faculty members to test their own homes for radon.
