American social media platform Twitter has launched the pilot of Shop Module, a feature that will allow the company to explore how shoppable profiles can create a pathway from talking about and discovering products on Twitter to actually purchasing them. The module is a dedicated space at the top of a profile where businesses can showcase their products.
Twitter will initially start small with a handful of brands in the US for people who use the platform in English on their iOS devices, Bruce Falck, product lead, Goldbird, wrote in a blogpost on Twitter’s website.
