The Riverside Police Department conducted program called Santa's Intervention
Undercover cops dressed as Santa and an elf nabbed a few thieves, including two who tried to steal a car, outside California shopping center Thursday
Video shows duo making arrests outside the Target store in Canyon Springs
Santa is seen tackling one man who resisted arrested and the elf is seen arresting the man's accomplice 
They also arrested a woman and man for stealing merchandise from the Target
