Vineland considering eliminating transgender student policy

A majority of the Vineland school board attempted Jan. 3 to repeal the district's transgender student policy, in place since 2014. One of the big sticking points is that the policy allows for someone at the school to know a student's transgender or transitioning status without the student's parents being aware of it.
