MUNCIE, Ind. — Local residents greeted with fresh snowfall Monday morning have more of the same — a lot more of the same — to look forward to by the same time Tuesday.
The National Weather Service issued winter storm warnings for almost the entire state of Indiana, with warnings in effect for Delaware, Henry and Randolph counties until 7 a.m. Tuesday and for Blackford and Jay counties until 10 a.m. Tuesday.
As of Monday afternoon, Delaware County was under an orange travel status, that means conditions are threatening to the safety of the public. During an orange status, only essential travel such as to and from work, or emergency situations, is recommended.
