Pasatiempo was charged in February with making inappropriate sexual comments to several of his patients while they were seeking treatment and care from him, according to court documents.  An arraignment hearing for Pasatiempo was held Friday morning before Superior Court of Guam Judge Benjamin Sison Jr. It was the third time Pasatiempo s case appeared on the judge s calendar. The previous two times were pushed back because Pasatiempo wasn t served his court summons.

A former government of Guam psychiatrist accused of sexual misconduct with his patients hasn t been found to serve a court summons. Dr. Abner Pasatiempo had an arraignment hearing via telephone scheduled Friday morning before Superior Court of Guam Judge Benjamin Sison Jr. Pasatiempo was called, but there was no answer. A court clerk informed the judge that a summons showed non-service and Sison reissued the summons for Pasatiempo. Office of the Attorney General of Guam spokeswoman Carlina Charfauros said she believes her office is still trying to locate Pasatiempo. According to his attorney in a case before the Guam Board of Medical Examiners, Pasatiempo is living in Alaska and trying to get a job there.

No action by medical board on former GovGuam psychiatrist The Guam Board of Medical Examiners hasn t taken action against a former government of Guam psychiatrist despite criminal charges filed against him. Board chairman Dr. Nathaniel Berg during a meeting Wednesday said he didn t feel any action by the board was needed because Dr. Abner Pasatiempo isn t currently licensed on Guam. Last week, a local judge found probable cause for criminal charges filed against Pasatiempo by the attorney general. The complaint against Pasatiempo involves seven counts of official misconduct and seven counts of harassment. According to court documents, he allegedly made inappropriate sexual comments to several of his patients.
