Foreign Ministry spox: Armenia rejects fake agenda of so-called ‘disputed territories’
Imposing conditions with the threat or use of force is a gross violation of international law, and Armenia will not give in to such pressures, Armenian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Anna Naghdalyan said on Friday, referring to the Azerbaijani incursion into the sovereign territory of Armenia.
“Armenia also rejects the fake agenda of so-called disputed territories , which could set a dangerous precedent for justifying the use of force in other regions as well,” she said.
“Failing to implement its obligations under the November 9 trilateral statement, particularly in regard with the repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war and civilian captives, as well as other humanitarian issues, Azerbaijan once again demonstrated its behavior of deliberately undermining its international commitments.
