PM Imran, COAS Gen Bajwa discuss country s security situation

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday met Prime Minister Imran Khan at PM House.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to country’s security situation, ceasefire violations by India along Line of Control and human rights abuses in Kashmir came under discussion.
Regional security situation was also discussed in the meeting.
Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed was also present in the meeting.
They also discussed the professional matters pertaining to Pakistan Army and external and internal security situation. They expressed concern over continuous human rights violation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

ISLAMABAD: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, while chairing Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy, expressed confidence over combat readiness of the force.
Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan, which concluded at Naval Headquarters, reviewed matters related to geo strategic milieu, national security, operational preparedness, training and welfare of troops.
Briefings on various ongoing and future developmental projects of Pakistan Navy were also given to Chief of the Naval Staff. ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Indian Charge d’affaires was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Wednesday to register Pakistan’s strong protest over ceasefire violations by the Indian forces along the Line of Control (LoC) on December 22, 2020, resulting in one shahadat and serious injuries to three innocent civilians.
Due to indiscriminate and unprovoked firing by the Indian forces in Hotspring and Jandrot Sectors of the LoC on December 22, 50-year-old Khadeeja, the wife of Abdul Rahman and a resident of Grid Janubi village, embraced shahadat.
