15 Joint Base airmen volunteer to serve in U S Space Force

JOINT BASE McGUIRE-DIX-LAKEHURST U.S. Air Force members stationed at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst are embarking on a journey to the U.S. military s newest frontier outer space. Fifteen airmen have volunteered to serve in the newly formed U.S. Space Force, and over the next several months will transition into their new roles in the newest branch of the U.S. military. The U.S. Space Force was formed in December 2019, and will take shape over the next year and a half.  According to its website, the military branch was formed to  protect U.S. and allied interests in space and to provide space capabilities to the joint force.

WBB supports several US Air Force programmes, including the F-35, shown here. (Credit: US Air Force) The deal will boost Serco’s annual North American defence revenue by 20% to USD1.1 billion, diversify its customer base, and bolster its expertise in such high-demand technology areas as advanced data analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cybersecurity, modelling, precision navigation and timing, and wargaming.

Special Forces Divers Explored a Secret Space Force Mountain Base

A 10 th Special Forces Group dive team went into the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, in Colorado, and dived to access the Complex’s reservoirs. The Cheyenne Mountain Complex is a Space Force base that houses several capabilities, ranging from electronic surveillance to missile defense to aerospace operations. In addition, the Complex serves as the alternate headquarters for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and U.S. Air Force Space Command and U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM), which are headquartered nearby at Peterson Air Force Base. The Complex is designed to operate independently from outside help, so the condition of its reservoirs has to be perfect.
