Global COVID-19 cases surpass 90 million ANI | Updated: Jan 11, 2021 08:24 IST Baltimore [US], January 11 (ANI): The global coronavirus cases have surpassed the grim milestone of 90 million cases and 1.93 million deaths as per the latest update by Johns Hopkins University. As of 6.52 am IST, the COVID-19 Dashboard by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), reported that the cases worldwide stand at 90,216,381 and as many as 1,933,487 people have succumbed to the pathogen worldwide. As many as 49,953,438 patients who tested positive for the virus have recovered from the virus, the live dashboard reported further. The United States continues to be the most-affected country in the world by the pandemic reporting 22,377,230 cases of the coronavirus and 374,008 deaths across the country. The US also records the most fatalities in the world.
