More than half of Oklahomans ages 65 and older have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, according to the state health department.
Deputy Health Commissioner Keith Reed said at a virtual press briefing on Thursday that 53% of that age group had received at least one shot.

State Rep. Wendi Stearman on COMMUNITY CONNECTION
Tom Davis Recenlty, a group of Oklahoma House Republicans sent a letter on Tuesday to the members of the Oklahoma congressional delegation urging them to challenge the certification of the Electoral College votes on Jan. 6th, 2021. Appearing on COMMUNITY CONNECTION, State Representative Wendi Stearman of Collinsville said she joined 23 other lawmakers to contend that election law changes and violations in swing state disenfranchised the votes cast by Oklahomans. Another big item for Stearman is the redistricting process. By law, the State Legislature must redraw its legislative and congressional district boundaries to reflect changes in population every ten years immediately following the Census.
