“Ako po ay irerelease na today. Discharge date ko na po itong hapon na ‘to (I will be released from isolation today. I’m scheduled to be discharged this afternoon),” Belmonte said in a Laging Handa press briefing.
The QC mayor, who tested positive COVID-19 for the second time on March 29, said she was declared recovered by her doctors on her 12th day of isolation.
Belmonte said she had COVID symptoms this time, unlike when she first contracted the disease on July 8, 2020, when she was asymptomatic.

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, April 2) The ₱22.9 billion emergency subsidy budget for those affected by the enhanced community quarantine in the NCR Plus bubble will be downloaded to concerned local governments on Monday, according to the Finance Department.
The subsidy will benefit residents within the greater Manila area Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal which were placed under the strictest form of lockdown until Sunday due to the spike in COVID-19 cases. The quick release was made possible only because [Budget] Sec.
