While a Carroll man who was recently convicted of second-degree burglary awaits a May 25 trial for two additional felony charges, a Carroll County District Court judge revoked his probation this week. Thirty-year-old Brice Edward Shrimpton was ordered to serve two years of probation in two cases prior to the burglary charges that were levied from a Dec. 14, 2020 incident. On Sept. 9, 2019, Shrimpton was alleged to have used his car to strike the driver’s side of a victim’s vehicle multiple times while both the victim and a juvenile were in that targeted car. He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, child endangerment and domestic abuse assault while using or displaying a weapon. He negotiated a plea deal and received two, two-year prison sentences on each charge, which were subsequently suspended and he was placed on two years of probation.
