While a Carroll man who was recently convicted of second-degree burglary awaits a May 25 trial for two additional felony charges, a Carroll County District Court judge revoked his probation this week. Thirty-year-old Brice Edward Shrimpton was ordered to serve two years of probation in two cases prior to the burglary charges that were levied from a Dec. 14, 2020 incident. On Sept. 9, 2019, Shrimpton was alleged to have used his car to strike the driver’s side of a victim’s vehicle multiple times while both the victim and a juvenile were in that targeted car. He was arrested and charged with criminal mischief, child endangerment and domestic abuse assault while using or displaying a weapon. He negotiated a plea deal and received two, two-year prison sentences on each charge, which were subsequently suspended and he was placed on two years of probation. On Nov. 2, 2019, Shrimpton was arrested again and charged with first-offense operating while under the influence as well as second
