The disruption caused long lines at gas stations in the Southeast due to distribution problems and panic-buying, draining supplies at thousands of gas stations, such as the one above, in Lynchburg, Virginia. Colonial initiated the restart of pipeline operations late Wednesday, saying in a statement that “all lines, including those lateral lines that have been running manually, will return to normal operations.” But it will take several days for deliveries to return to normal, the company said. Onondaga County, Kinney Drugs adds Saturday vaccine clinic for teens to meet demand Updated May 13, 2021; Syracuse, N.Y. Onondaga County and Kinney Drugs will hold an additional Covid-19 vaccination clinic for children 12 to 15 on Saturday afternoon after appointments at three other clinics for adolescents are nearly full, County Executive Ryan McMahon said today. That clinic will run from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Oncenter. Appointments for that afternoon clinic must be made at Kinney Drugs website. That’s in addition to clinics today, Saturday morning and Monday. The demand for vaccine among younger people comes as Onondaga County’s confirmed cases grew to more than 37,000. That means about 1 in 12 people here have tested positive for the coronavirus.

By Dave Smith May 12, 2021 Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon says there are 66 new cases of COVID 19 in the county. There are 347 active cases, the 7-day average is 0.9%. Hospitalizations down to 34 with 2 people in the ICU and NO new deaths. McMahon has also announced that the county will be hosting a Memorial Day Service Sunday, May 30th at 10 am at the Veterans Cemetary
