County health officials today confirmed 42 new cases of Covid-19 since Sunday. There are currently 635 active cases in the county. The positive test rate, averaged over the past seven days, is 1.5%, roughly where it has been for a month. There were 54 county residents being treated for Covid-19 in local hospitals today. Onondaga County Hits 700 COVID-19 Deaths

Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon said today there were 128 new cases of COVID in the county. The 7-day positivity rate is hovering around the 1.4% mark. He said 2 more people did die in the past 24 hours, and those deaths bring the total number of deaths in the county to 700.
