An anonymous woman who sent a warning to the Windsor Town Council regarding Mayor Dominic Foppoli is providing further details of an alleged assault at Foppoli’s winery.
The woman, who is only identified as Jane by the San Francisco Chronicle, tells the paper that in 2013 at Christopher Creek Winery, then private citizen Foppoli had pushed alcohol on her friends and pressured female employees to remove their underwear and wear togas and also tried to remove a guest’s swimsuit without permission. She also describes a instance of Foppoli sexually assaulting her by forcing his penis into her hand while they were in a hot tub together. Jane says when she sent the email to councilmember Deb Fudge in 2017 regarding Foppoli’s behavior, she didn’t want law enforcement to investigate but never said anything about not wanting the town to investigate. Mayor Foppoli has been accused by at least six women of sexual assault between 2002 and 2020.
