The second-ranked Mavericks added six marks that were new or improved at the MSU Triangular, including three that rank within the top-3 of their respective events:
Denisha Cartwright improved upon her No. 1 time in the 60H from 8.62 to 8.50 and
Makayla Jackson in the 60 (No. 2, 7.48). Cartwright was also a contributing leg of the 4×400 with the No. 3 time (3:48.05c/3:51.07).
Central Missouri saw two athletes improve upon nationally ranked marks at the 6th Annual Indoor Gorilla Classic:
Madi Wulfekotter‘s No. 1 clearance in the pole vault (4.17m/13-8¼);
NOTE: In lieu of the canceled NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, Wartburg College has created the DIII Elite Championships. Invited to compete on March 12-13 will be the regular season’s top-16 individuals and top-12 relays, as verified by TFRRS Descending Order List.
Wartburg held steady at No. 1 for yet another week. The Knights own 15 national top-10 marks, including new and improved efforts from
Dallas Wright to No. 2 in the 400 at 48.66c/49.43 and
Christopher Collet to No. 6 in the 3000 at 8:21.83c/8:27.66, among others.
UW-Oshkosh is the only other team that remained in place from Week 3. The second-ranked Titans hold 13 national top-10 marks, which includes No. 1 performances from

National Athlete of the Week is an award selected and presented by the USTFCCCA Communications Staff at the beginning of each week to eight collegiate indoor track & field athletes, when applicable (male and female for each of the three NCAA divisions and the NJCAA).
Nominations are open to the public. Coaches and sports information directors are encouraged to nominate their student-athletes; as are student-athletes, their families and friends, and fans of their programs. Nominated athletes are noticed before those athletes found through searching TFRRS.
